Description
TvhClient will enable your iPhone or iPad to easily perform your TVHeadend common daily tasks and allow you to watch your channels on your device.
TvhClient allows you to remotely control the TVHeadend server - a DVB receiver, DVR and streaming server.
The app relies on real-time data it retrieves from the TVHeadend server allowing you to accomplish several tasks, including:
* view the channel's streaming video in-app or launch a third party video application,
* list channels,
* view channel's EPGs,
* search by program title,
* start, schedule and playback recordings (DVR),
* check alternative times for any show scheduled,
* view the log / status of the server
* browse your muxes and playback any of them without a channel
Supported Tvheadend versions: 3.2 and up.
Transcoding is supported in TVHeadend 4.x versions using TVHeadend's profiles.

The app supports sending video stream url directly to: VLC, Oplayer, Buzz Player, GoodPlayer, Ace Player, nPlayer and remotely to Kodi (TvhClient does not support passwords in webinterface!). If you know other apps that work well with TVHeadend and want them added, contact me via e-mail.

Great TV app
Works great with Pi TV Hat in Singapore through DVB T2. Manually key in the individual stations are needed with TVHEADEND
Grundsätzlich gut aber mit Verbesserungspotenzial
Auf der Apple TV finde ich die Ansicht der Kanäle etwas schlecht gelöst. Es wäre besser man könnte wie auf der iOS Version in Kanal-Gruppen gehen. Es gibt zwar eine Sortierung nach Gruppen. Es werden aber immer alle Kanäle gezeigt. So muss man teilweise elend lang scrollen. Bei manchen Kanälen gibt es auch ein Problem mit dem 5.1 Ton.
Alternativlos
Bei tvOS Version wird leider die Audio Delay Einstellung nicht gespeichert. Ansonsten der bester Tvheadend Client für den Apple Tv.
Super App für iPhone/iPad, gruselig auf Apple TV
Super App für iPhone/iPad. Noch besser ist das sie sogar kostenlos ist. Auf der Apple Watch ist sie meiner Meinung nach grausam. Das EPG ist definitiv verbesserungsfähig. Super wäre auch VLC zu integrieren. Das Bild wirkt am iPad auch besser als am TV. Denke weil hier ein anderer Player verwendet wird.

Auf dem AppleTV macht die App was sie soll. Bin sehr zufrieden und kann sie nur empfehlen.
TvhClient
Soweit eine Mega App, schlicht einfach und Super Bedienbar. Gibt zwei Punkte die negativ sind. Erstens Untertitel funktionieren nicht, ob Live oder Aufnahme. Zweitens wenn man das Bild dreht oder etwas an der Lautstärke spielt dann wird das Bild schwarz, aber der Ton geht weiter. Etwas Nervig!

Da sich Kodi nicht so einfach auf IOS und IPadOS installieren lässt ist die App ein SEHR zu empfehlender Ersatz! Danke.
Sorting of recordings
It would be great if list of recordings could be sorted by name.
TV wie es sein sollte
Die App ist absolut super. Läuft stabil, ist einfach zu bedienen und über viele Geräte durchgängig zu bedienen. Wenn ich noch einen Wunsch frei hätte: eine Version für M1 Macs bzw. einfach die iPad Version auf dem Mac freigeben.
