Pro level features, but no Magic Keyboard support – at all!
Twisted Wave is my favourite audio editor on Macs and it brings many of its features to the iPad Pro (I don't regard iPhone as a serious contender). In fact, I started using TW when it was still in beta for the Mac version 1.0 and it's come a long way since then.
However, since I work a lot with TW on Macs, the complete lack of keyboard support for the iPad Pro is a deal breaker for me. Every time I automatically hit Space for play/stop, or Cmd-R for record, or the standard commands Cmd-Z, -X, -C and -V, I come up short and have to fiddle around on the screen. Slow, inprecise and inconvenient!
I really hope that work is ongoing for a pro version with a complete keyboard implementation (which is standard on Apple software for the iPad).
At the same time, I think that the time is ripe for axing the GUI with its dated, old PC-like semi-skeumorphic lemon drop buttons, and replace it with current state of the art graphics. They need to be complemented with controls for navigating the Markers, by the way.
TW is arguably one of the very best pro audio editors on the Mac already – on the iPad, it's in imminent need of TLC.
