Typewriter for Markdown

I don’t know what version of Markdown this editor supports but so far my documents work fine. Typewriter is a minimalist editor. The way to change settings (such as font type and size) and the syntax selection is via the “gear wheel” in the document settings. Most of the formatting controls that you are likely to need are included in the pop up menu bar. The app is donation ware, and if you do start to use it then a donation is a good way to encourage the developer.

Works as advertised with a very clean and simple interface. i especially like the way headings are shown as an index in the sidebar. Good preview also.

Useless, this Markdown editor is unable to open .md files... 90% of readme's use .md extension. Also, if you create a new file, and if you save a new document it forces you to use no file extension.

Thanks for the great app, which fulfills my needs. Could you add compability to Drafts? Typerwriter doesnt show up as an option whenever I want to share text from drafts 5 app. Thanks.

I use it very often to write notes, lists, short texts, directly with the iPhone, save them in a cloud directory and later rework them with my laptop: I am really satisfied wit the design and with the functionality.

Honestly, how does this app work? I can’t get it to open any txt document, can’t create documents. iPhone 11, iOS 15.2, running latest version.

Great app, nice and simple, as it should be. A function to export to pdf would be greatly appreciated, which can be realised through the print function.

Die Funktionen aus den Screenshots hängen an der Tastatur, was bei meinem kleinen iPad unübersichtlich ist. Anker werden anscheinend nicht unterstützt wie auch Abbreviations. Alternative Überschriften scheinen mir nicht richtig interpretiert. U. s. w. … Ist schon nicht schlecht, hat aber noch Potential.
