Description

beorg is a to-do list and task manager app that puts you in control. You can see what needs to be done on a weekly agenda from the moment you open the app. From simple task lists to managing complex projects, beorg helps you keep on top of work, family and everything else. Files are synced in the plain text Org mode file format to iCloud, Dropbox, WebDAV, a folder in another app, or Box*.

beorg is free to use with optional extensions available as individual in-app purchases - or become a beorg Premium subscriber to unlock everything.

Only “GTD” style app I’ve found that that doesn’t force you to work its way or present you with a steep learning curve before you can start while you’re already trying to get your work and life under control. Plus orgmode means you aren’t locked in to a proprietary database.

Cannot sync with dropbox

Good to find a product like this. Sadly I failed to sync the file with dropbox.

Great text based organiser.

Old skool nesting lists. Schedule reminders. Sync with Box to share your lists. Companion to emacs org-mode. This app can be used as a stand alone utility, like I do; if you don’t use emacs (mainly used by programmers). *** Feature Request *** Can agenda view be more than one week, please? Monthly, quarterly, annual; would be great. Would be willing to pay for an in-app purchase, for this.

A brilliant complement to org-mode

This app is a wonderful complement to org-mode. I love how it is also able to include calendar entries from other areas so that I can see my agenda all in one place. Update (181124): I should also mention that when all I have is my phone, being able to enter todos feels like the closest thing to C-c C-c

Great app

Very good app for accessing org files on mobile

Very worthwhile

I'm a pragmatic org-mode user. I love it, but I have my phone handy more that I have emacs open on a computer. I keep my org files on drop box so I can refer to them as text files. I use the drafts.app to capture text notes as org entries to a recipe.org file. I've used the org trello lisp package to see todos in the trello app. Beorg supports Dropbox and replaces my need for drafts and trello. It also makes my agenda files Usable in a way they weren't through others apps. Sure there are Some missing features, but I still rate it 4 stars. If it had a search function I'd give it 5. There are many things this app might do, but in its current state it's free and worthwhile. If you know what org-mode is, then you should try this app.
