Not everything works as we would like and sometimes solutions from support can be confusing and not match our experience our devices but in my case, I eventually got helpful responses to resolve issues. Patience gets there. It’s too easy to get trigger happy and drop bad reviews when we get frustrated. Take a breath. It seems like they are genuinely trying to support our projects. Appreciate it.
The app used to be so intuitive but the recent update with the constantly shifting block sizes is so frustrating and useless. Can’t get anything to look right. Had considered upgrading to a paid domain but won’t be after this. (Also, taking away free features and putting them behind a paywall is a cheap trick. Don’t think I haven’t noticed I can’t use custom colours anymore) Feeling like I may bite the bullet and switch to square space if this isn’t resolved
Really cool and easy builder. I can build website on my phone, that’s sick!!! But there’s one thing- when I’m inside the themed template I can’t chose new designs for pages like in Canva for example.
Universe is easy to use and you can build a website on an iPad. But there is no support. I’ve got a bug with loading images? And my domain provider isn’t on Universe’s list of domain provider. Help button doesn’t work so Emailed Universe as they advised and no email back. Have used Webflow in the past but it you need a laptop for webflow. Be cause of the lack of support I’ve bought a laptop. Yes, I’d recommend Universe, but check domain providers first and keep it simple. More than simple then Universe might not be for you. Personally get I’d recommend getting a laptop and thus Universe becomes a bit less appealing.
Ali here, a 10 year old. I just want to say this is an Amazing app, I really recommend it. There is one problem. I love how everything is so simple. I don’t love how nearly EVERTHING uses PRO. I love this app and use it to gain me shirt sales ( aandbrosstudios.com, if you’re intrigued!). This app is a life saver! I scoured the App Store for something to make my website, finding Wix, Squarespace, and many other cheap rip offs. I found Universe and I stopped . It’s amazing! But my problem is, and I ask this with a heavy 💜 heart: make more things free, PLEASE!
Such an easy and intuitive way to build websites. Just hope in the future theres a way to customise the site according to different devices.
You can literally create everything and do anything you want! This is an app that can create websites from factual to even money making websites! It is amazing and I would definitely recommend it.
