Appreciation

I’m grateful. on

I just want to take this moment to praise the VA for its care and concern for me and the other veterans. My thanks and appreciation goes to you for all you are doing for us. Thank you. Eddie Q Mathis

Lack of continuity between website and VA

Mike85086 on

United States

My app states I’m in stage 3 when the website and VA state my claim has been in stage 5 for over a month.

Red box with black text

Red box with black text. Can anyone read the text? It’s older people have a hard time. I’m in my 50s and can’t. Also why does someone have to fill out a sheet with PII in order to provide app feedback? Ridiculous. Otherwise this is one of the best govt apps around. Gave one star so someone will actually read the comment. Leave a comment and I’ll upgrade the rating.

Excellent caregivers

The VA Hospital and Staff at the Saginaw Medical Center helped save my life and treat me with respect and are truly concerned about my well being… my primary care NP Rebecca Boench is kind and helps me with my health concerns … Dr Caroll held me with my chronic PTSD and other mental health issues each month… I am not sure if I would be around without the VA care I receive !

Love ❤️ this site.

Reason for Appointment

Appt Listings on

United States

It’s hard to remember what the appointment is for and the abbreviated Doctors title and department are hard to keep in mind. There should be some basic information listed like, ear, nose, knee, foot, or whichever area is concerned for an appointment. Not everybody has the Doctor title memorized. So if it’s a doctors appointment for hearing aides the reason for the appointment should be listed for an example, Audiologist(ear). I know some could be more complicated to list but when you don’t have all the doctor titles memorized and you have appointments for ear, knee, brain, or skin cancer it doesn’t make list the reason for the appointment and 98% of the time all I remember is that I have appointment of some type. Don’t get me wrong I know it might need an adjustment to the system for this automatically be listed like this but after having a brain tumor removed I have a hard time remembering a lot of things and remembering all the medical listings are harder than before. I know as I get older it’s going to get even harder. Thank you.
