Veo Reviews

Worst escooter experience ever!

chillingbadger on

France

I’ve ridden hundreds of escooters from various operators in dozens of cities and Veo is by far the worst experience I’ve ever had! Half of the scooters don’t work. The rides are super expensive. When a scooter doesn’t work and you stop the ride immediately you still get charged. And last but not least, it stops in the middle of the « no ride zones », 1min after you entered the zone, so you can never drop it where you are and end up pushing the scooter for 100m+ before rinding a spot. I absolutely hated this experience!

Santa Monica Los Angeles…. Full of tourists coming from other countries and Veo doesn’t allow them to download the app and rent a bike!!!!

On ne peut pas utiliser un téléphone étranger comme un téléphone français (+33). Je vais donc utiliser Lime.

Poor User Experience

Glitched28328 on

Terrible compared to other scooter/ebike apps. First, I had to deposit $10 rather than just pay what I owe. That really annoyed me - what if I only use one ride - then do I get ripped off for the rest I deposited? My bike’s brakes were extremely squeaky and the bike itself had a horribly annoying start-up/ending jingle.

Battery life on the e scooters

The percentage on the e scooter isn’t accurate. The percentage can be 65% and i will ride 4 blocks and i have change scooters to continue to my destination. To do that is frustrating at times. But Overall i love the e scooters but it’s just those situations that bother me.

So much fun

Beware, the app always bills you in $10 increments. Any unused money will stay with the company. They do not allow you to refund it.
