Verizon One Talk FAQ
Is Verizon One Talk free?
Yes, Verizon One Talk is completely free and it doesn't have any in-app purchases or subscriptions.
Is Verizon One Talk legit?
⚠️ The Verizon One Talk app has poor ratings and negative feedback. Users seem unsatisfied with its performance or features.
This is a terrible app. I can make calls when the app feels like it, yet I cannot hear when someone answers. It constantly gives me a random error message, or it says “couldn’t load the list of call-through numbers”. I cannot find a solution anywhere. I’ve deleted and reinstalled the app, shut down my phone, restarted the phone, etc… nothing works. Even the support shows an old version of the app which is also not helpful. Terrible app. Terrible service. I thought our landline problem was bad and switching the number to Verizon would be better, but it’s actually worse.
The worst
Might as well not even exist. Constantly needs updates or it wont even ring or take calls. If it does ring, calls go in and out EVERY call. Worthless app and terrible for Verizons reputation
Not Good For Business
This is by far the worst alternate phone service I have had. Text messages come in slow if at all and calls consistently drop while in the middle of important business calls. Better off going with Google Voice or Go Daddy.
Does the basics but overall horrible
Terrible app full of bugs. Set up a meeting with Verizon and they pretty much told me that there was nothing they could do because it’s a 3rd party app.
Drops call, often won’t accept or make calls unless connected to WiFi and if I am moving around at all call will drop. basically if I wasn’t locked in to this phone number I would NOT continue using this app for my business. It is honesty garbage.
Bad for business
We adopted Verizon for our business a few months ago. Project manager was fantastic. Once he was out of the picture & reality set in we had major issues. There are times when connection won’t allow you to use app - even with full bars & connected to WiFi. There are other times that calls drop as soon as the call starts. There are other times when our voices sound like chipmunks on speed or a slow talking creeper robot. They try to blame our individual phones or WiFi. However, we are all on different networks, phones & WiFi & all experience the same glitches. The only common denominator…this app.
Additionally when I called customer support because no calls were coming through, it was discovered that they had randomly put us on a “holiday” that we didn’t request or agree to. After spending 2 hours on the phone attempting to correct this issue with a non-native English speaking rep, he somehow managed to undo our entire auto attendant & call tree. Our saving grace was that I happened to have the personal cell phone to our initial project manager & he went in to fix what had been undone. He shared that this is common with customer support.
The portal is also NOT user friendly. And the outcome to clicking the wrong setting can have dramatic impacts on your business.
Verizon should stick with cell phones & leave the business sector to someone else.
Avoid at all costs
The fact that I have to give this one star bothers me to the core because it does not deserve it. This is, without a doubt, the worst business line app that you can possibly use. Avoid at all costs if you have legitimate business to conduct. I have over a dozen calls per week that customers have made to me that I have no record of missing. Lag times in uploading messages and voicemails. Constantly can not maintain calls. On every level possible it is completely unusable for me to manage a sales territory. I deeply regret switching over from Sideline when we switched our cell service from Verizon. Run from this app as far and fast as you possibly can and you will be more successful in any route you choose than this.
Don’t Use
Terrible App. Calls constantly drop. When you answer a call half the time it immediately hangs up
Poor business solution
Constantly dropping calls, messages that pend for days at a time without sending. And the reboot process where it’s always reconnecting calls. Just buy a phone this isn’t worth it.
Why can’t I block all the spam?!
I want to love it but I’ve been getting so many spam calls as if they sold my number or something it’s sooo annoying sometimes 30 times in a row!
