Doesn’t work
The app worked for almost a year and then something changed. I can no longer access the boiler, which is connected to my WIFI. Deleted and reinstalled the app. Still couldn’t get logged in. Tried to change password but the server wouldn’t respond. Tried accessing the server through both Safari and Google Chrome. Site not available. Called Viessmann tech support and accomplished exactly the same results. NOTHING. Now what am I supposed to do. Buy a different brand of boiler if you need remote access. The app doesn’t work.
Fail after latest update.
Was ok but after latest update i cannot use your app. Front page isn’t accessible at all. I cannot make any setup for my Viessmann heating system.
Good Comms Now
3.25.0 fixed the login trouble I had been seeing and most times the system status comes up quickly. A suggestion- let the app report gas usage in therms and not just m^3. The HW status in the home tab needs to update more frequently it seems to go hours between updates.
Don’t even bother
The manufacturer did not provide the QR code to activate the app, completely useless. Only giving one star because I can’t do zero.
No good
Can not connect to unit. Following instructions to a T . And no luck.
Works well when connected
The last update cause a connectivity problem with my app. I still could look at the history on errors but real time data wasn’t available at times.
Bloody nightmare
Absolutely zero in the operating instructions for the new boiler about how to use the new app. Just a sticker on the front of the unit promising that if you do download the app you’ll get “peace of mind” by being able to set temps “from anywhere” and “store daily schedules.”
First of all, even connecting the unit to the internet was challenging and required tech support. Then, after connecting, the app itself is not intuitive and the video with instructions online is outdated.
I started this process Monday night. It’s past noon on Friday. I’ve lost count on how many times I’ve reached out to support. I’m so frustrated.
It shouldn’t be this hard.
(I work on computers daily. This isn’t the case of a tech-illiterate user.)
all good but ONE ISSUE
app is generally really good. all feaatures keep improving vith new upgrades.
but I NEED HELP with following::
Vitodens 200-W is stuck on CET timezone. But our house is in UK. The heating scedules are allways by 1 hour off.
I tried followng:
- via Vicare/Viguide apps - not possible to adjust boiler time settings
- Physically on the boiler - adjusted time MANY times but after a few days it goes back to wrong time/timezone.
Please ressolve that Vicare/Viguide could adjust time/timezone for Vitodens 200-W. thank you.
Poor updates. Lost DHW TILE FUNCTIONALITY
Unable to change dhw temp
States cylinder aquastat active
Lost on demand dhw quick changes
Poor updates. Going backwards
DHW set point no longer working
Use to be able to control DHW temp. Now blank and says aqua stat is active only.
