After much trial and error I discovered that the only way to access the boiler is to be on a different network. When I use my own wifi connection to access the settings, it spools and times out. If I use cellular data or a different network access is no problem. My problem now is that I have changed out my Wi-Fi router and the app won’t give me any options to hook it back up to the new one. Total junk. Get a different boiler

In the upper right corner of the app there is an icon with the local weather. After weeks of showing the weather from another continent something has changed for the better but there is still something wrong. For example today when it is raining it shows the sun

I can’t count the number of times the app appears to hang with the wheel spinning and no progress whatsoever. Definitely not intuitive and with a few mistakes for example, the heating circuit setpoint is not correct. I find it easier to walk down the basement and use the boiler panel to do whatever I need to do.Basically the app enables you to control the boiler settings remotely, if you are willing to put up with an interface that is not even as good as the tiny display on the appliance itself.

Can’t even get past the sign up. Tried removing app, reinstalling, over and over, just and endless spinning wheel and no ability to sign up. Questioning my viesmann purchase now

It’s really nice to see your fuel usage and a lot of information and control features, in real time with this app. I could imagine more features like seeing the past day in detail, hour by hour usage. But the concept is great, and will doubtless see further features added. So kudos to Viessmann for introducing it to their customers.

Overall, this app works great. One bug that needs to be fixed is that the primary temperature that is in the large font that displays in the weather section does not refresh. On the home screen, the small weather temperature display is correct, and when you go to the weather screen, the ”feels like” temperature is accurate, but the large font actual temperature that it displays in the weather section shows the last temperature that it saw. As an example, mine is displaying 74°F today even though it is in 30s.The only way to get it to refresh is by swiping the app closed on the phone, then it does update. Should be an easy bug to fix if the developers see this review and issue!

We just purchased this system and I’m not too pleased with the app apparently the app is lagging behind in updates. Please upgrade this app to match your newest system so it is usable

On the mixed AND non-mixed circuits there should be a real time flow temp or at least a target temp. This applies to ViCare and ViGuide.

Since the Company changed ownership I was never contacted by a person who has the knowledge of how this headingsystems works. I am really thinking of getting rid of the ViCare and going back to the Danfoss System, which by the way shows the actual temperature on it room sensor so one has not to open app the app to check the correct temperature. I am mad at the customer support in Switzerland which doesn’t exist.
