Villages GPS

The app when it works is great. Unfortunately if I close it down and open it back up it fails to load back up and I just get a spinning wheel. So I have to delete the app and re install it rendering it not user friendly. If I had not paid for it I guess I wouldn’t be so upset. All that being said the delete and download worked as a work around and the app works great like that. If you don’t close the app totally then it’s ok and will work the next time you open your phone, personally my ocd of closing apps when against me on this one

I have an Iphone 4 with IOS 7.1.2 and although things like Recreation Centres, Pools, Shopping etc. will open up the section for Golf Courses will not! This is unsatisfactory as it is the golf courses I want.

Gave it a test to someplace I knew how to get and the instructions would have led me out of the golf car zone when using golf car directions…... Seemed easy to navigate through different options, but just not sure how accurate it is.

Why are there no directions to Southern Oaks and Shallow Creek golf courses?

No step by step directions or verbal for cart paths

Bexley bridge has been open for some tome now, still not showing on the app. Golf cart routes say they will take 2x longer than they actually take. (This has nothing to so with the golf cart speed, it just keeps rerouting and rerouting) Very frustrating app.

When will the update to route golf carts from Fenney to Sawgrass Grove via the Bexley bridge be available? This route currently routes drivers over the Water Lily bridge.

Asked a question, and it was answered within 30Minutes. Communication is thoughtful and app is full of such valuable information provided by those who know we as residents and future potential residents of the area want to know more. This app is truly great. As with anything it updates and gets us what we need. Thank you THANK YOU!

I was having trouble with the app after purchasing a new phone. I emailed the Villages support team and the issue was resolved within 24 hours over the weekend! I appreciate the response time!

This app is a must for anyone living or even vacationing in The Villages. It’s good with information about different locations around the community. Where it excels and is a must have is GPS navigation in a golf cart. The Villages is so vast and so many miles of golf cart paths. The app provides everything you are used to in a mapping app but for golf carts. Turn by turn navigation and ETA are the biggest. (It also does time/directions to locations in a car but I just use my standard navigation for that.) Some of the other features may be great. I just don’t use them. The navigation alone makes this app a winner. I wish I could give it more stars! Do not worry about the $7 price. It will be the best $7 you will ever spend!
