The media player on the app looks horrendous compared to the websites player. Everything is desaturated and noticeable banding even in the highest settings. I definitely wouldn’t want to share a video of mine when the quality is that bad.
When watching full screen on iPhone, if the video/film does not go all the way to the edges of the phone, there is an out of focus “color gradient” outside the confines of the film, that seems to be some average of the colors in the film at that moment, and it is SO distracting (imagine like how news sources duplicate and then blur vertical videos that they want to play in a landscape video format) — for an app / site full of filmmakers, this decision feels super antithesis to the work you watch on Vimeo (don’t flame me btw for watching things on my phone, sometimes that what you got). Please please please undo whatever this decision is.
I paid for an upgrade to a pro user account from a basic. I paid for it through the Apple App Store, which shows a subscription will renew in one year but when I go back to the app It still shows I’m in basic. I clicked on restored purchased several times still, I’m in basic. I’ve contacted their customer service through their AI still waiting on a reply. Worst Customer Service experience I’ve ever had with this company. Can I get a refund through Apple if this does not work out?
I’ve had this app for many years. And just recently, it has been useless. Unable to edit my downloaded videos. Unable to add music. Only able to change the title of the video. Nothing else!
