Even when you have a Norwegian bankaccount, bankcard and D-number but no Norwegian phone number you are locked out. Very inconvenient

Visa card advertises on their own german internet domain that Vipps and Visa started a cooperation on 3rd of september 2020. Now I‘ m in Norway and have to pay the harbour fee for my sailing yacht. Calling to Visa in Germany: what is Vipps? At Vipps app no contact is possible to ask how to log in. Fantastic result. We are getting stormy weather now and I have to leave the harbour? Back to the „stone age“, back to the roots: Where do I get cash here? Digital live could be so easy…

To stop our app working and replace it with national security requirements which doesn’t match danish system is hyper bad business. Done here, thx

Not possible to register without ID number

And no ads, and no 5k limit, and no extra money for a funny background image.

This app is used in Norway to pay small amounts. Unfortunately it is not possible for non-Norwegians to pay with it. Thus many small services remain inaccessible to tourists. Is it really that difficult to offer credit cards or even a prepaid solution for tourists here?

I could not agree more to all that has been said about this exclusive App before which is exclusively for native Norwegians. Sometimes you could indeed get the impression that ex- Norwegians are purposefully excluded particularly if it comes to paying for parking lots.

You have more tourists every year in Norway than people living here. How are they supposed to pay? Useless app

You can‘t use this app if you haven’t got a Norwegian identity number. What is annoying: this app is used everywhere for parking tickets, charging electric cars and so on. Very unfriendly for travellers from abroad.
