Double edged sword

Upside:-Great card for accumulating Virgin Atlantic points for long haul flights! Down side:- This Virgin Atlantic card does not promote the use of its purpose in that it charges a 3% price gouging fee on all of the VA flight destinations visited. Conclusion use the card in the UK only and leave it behind when you travel. Use Revolut instead for best rates and zero price gouging.

Can’t link card

Is this only for UK credit cards and not for South African? If yes, when will SA get an app. Well overdue already.

Can’t load your card

What would be a great app to be able to check balances and spend quickly is rendered completely useless as you are unable to load you CC information???

Useless app

The application downloads fine however you cannot link your card, rendering the app useless. Not happy at all.

Crappy

When I try to register my card and details it says it cant find my profile. Useless

App no longer works

App has stopped working. Face ID won’t work, enter pin instead still won’t work. Message somethings up. Check connected to internet - well I am as I can access everything else. Not been able to check payments pending payments, approve payments or make payments. Needs fixing asap!

In App Purchase Approval Still Not Working

I have raised this with Virgin cc support services before many months ago several times and it still doesn’t work. Tonight 16/12/2024 tried to approve a purchase - opened app - approval page displayed - pressed button got a message saying unable to approve - yet again. YES THE APP IS UP TO DATE. YES I HAVE A MODERN PHONE (iPhone 14) YES I AM TECH SAVVY. YES ALL MY OTHER BANKING APPS PROCESS IN APP APPROVAL. NO MY VIRGIN APP WILL NOT DO IT!!!! The app is not already open

Buggy and impossible to reach customer service

Can’t log on via Face ID today, no biometrics prompt comes up. No one picks up the phone, chat interface is slow so you have to stay on the exact screen otherwise the whole conversation refreshes.

App Access

App is telling me it not available so I can’t pay my bill. Keeps say check the WiFi or try again later. I have rebooted the phone and the app several time and WiFi signal is fine. Still Keeps say in not available Very annoying as I am likely to get a fine for a missed payment now
