Virtual Villagers Origins 2

Every time I open the app, it has me select villagers and start over again. I was doing really well before this started happening, I lost a lot of progress because of this.

Prepare to be bored out of your skull and robbed of resources when you least expect it. Resources you’ve collected mysteriously disappear. Had 4 Air only to discover on reopening that I now had 3. Food goes from 5 figures to 3 in the blink of an eye. Earning tech points and crafting take a ridiculously long time. At least with the other virtual villagers you can run multiple villages simultaneously so that you get at least a little satisfaction. It’s almost impossible to collect completed crafts. App goes into la-la land “saving” when I try to collect completed crafts. I have to close and reopen the app numerous times to get it to complete the process. Made it into chapter 2 but, at this point, it’s just a slog and a grind.

Accidentally clicked for the tutorial and there’s no way to cancel once the tutorial starts. The tutorial is infuriating and long so I just deleted the app.

I have always loved games like virtual villages and played a lot of them. So I decided I would go back and replay them. First problem is the white line on iPhone to minimize the app. It blocks the messages telling you what a villager is doing. So I go look on forums and read reviews and this had been a known problem for at least 5 YEARS! And it still hasn’t been fixed. Then there is a ridiculous number of ads. And guess what? It also has been a problem for YEARS. I haven’t experienced any of the other problems people mentioned with lemurs or people dying overnight or even thought about spending money for lava stones because I haven’t gotten past an hour of playing. I have deleted it and restarted 3 times hoping it was a glitch and would fix the issue. No luck. If you have no plan to fix problems, then remove it from the App Store. All you are doing now is upsetting players and ruining your reputation. There are plenty of other free games I can play without this frustration. Don’t bother to reply to the review as you dont follow through on what you say. Very disappointing.

This is the best game I’ve ever played and I love it. If you have any problems with the game you can always email the creators and they will help you. I’m obsessed with this game

The loading screen takes wayyyy too long, it’ll sit on the loading screen for abt 30mins and after awhile I stop waiting and get off the app…then when I come back it loads the main screen and I’m at another loading screen and I don’t actually get a chance to even enjoy the game or be able to play the game. It also signs my account out and I have to log into my account each time I try to play the app.

Used to be a fun and addictive game. Now game has too many ads and pop-ups. Also, the game has become more challenging to complete and not in a good way. It’s obvious that you must spend money in order to advance or you’ll be waiting a lifetime to complete the old-fashioned way. It’s almost crazy to think this use to be a free & fun PC game. Don’t be fooled, the first few plays there’s little to no ads and once you reach a certain milestone or time played the ads are super frequent. Profiting off of nostalgia SMH

Bought started package for my niece and she never received it but the money was taken. Sent email and never got a response.

I just don’t understand how I’m 2024 you’ll still have games that have no diversity. It’s not right, everyone deserves representation and it’s your job as creators to make sure we receive representation.

It’s been years now, why do the game developers think only white people exist in the world? This game is horrible.
