App doesn’t always work. Deleted and reinstalled hoping that would help
What you’d expect from the government.
Now, for a year or so, it doesn’t download offline maps and it appears all data is out of date. Wish they’d update!
The app opens, but anything you select, then hit review selection, it just generates an error saying problem loading selection. WiFi and data are working fine, so it’s definitely the app.
Don’t don’t, just don’t waste your time!!! Map would never load, but then again this is a government map so don’t know why I expected it to work. Horrible waste of space on my ipad - removed it!
Just downloaded onto my iPad and the app just continually crashes. None of the selections are working and definitely cant get anywhere without it crashing. - Deleting.
Presumably the app is for use while visiting the forests it covers. Well news flash for the developers! Most of the forests in the US are outside the range of Cell Phone service and the off-line maps are for all intents and purposes blank. Not much use to potential users so how about fixing this so you haven’t wasted tax payers money on development of the app?
The national forest maps are not available for download. Thus, you cannot use the app offline.
The map always says “error loading activity”. The developer website from the App Store page never loads. Maybe the app should have a feature for “the backend is down” because a little message saying “error” isn’t very useful.
