It doesn’t allow you to pick from all the voices included with your iPhone, only a small subset of the worst ones. Also its understanding of text flow is very bad, so it tends to jump around on pages with multiple columns of text, especially when there’s text wrapping. Also the automatic cropping of scans never works correctly. The voice will also skip words near the spine of your book if the page curls into it, even if those words look visible.

When I did the eBay picture of the book it was jumping all over the place repeating stuff and skipping stuff

If you’re looking for a PDF reader, that does not require a subscription then you found the perfect app. Yes it’s lacking some of the bells and whistles of other products and they do have a premium option that you can pay for monthly but so far I’ve been very pleased with this app and would recommend it to anyone at their one time purchase cost level

I’m listening to my textbook while riding my bike and the voice switches to the default voice and I get a notification that I have reached my character limit for the month and I must wait until next month to use the premium features. Well, I canceled my subscription and I wrote this review! I have now subscribed to another reader with more voices. Hopefully they do not have a character limit.

I would give the zero stars, but I’m not able to. I am supposed to give it at least one star but this app I hate because when I try it out, I took a picture of what I wanted to read, and I put it in the app and then when I press play, it would not play. It does not generate the words so this is a really bad app. I do not prefer to get this app I would prefer another app if you’re trying to read something, but do not get this app. It is a really bad app.

Is there a way to make it in web-reader not pause when scrolling. I want to read along with it, but it pauses every time I scroll the smallest amount.

Even after paying for monthly subscription, there is lowsuch a low character count limit as compared to competitors apps. Worthless. Don’t buy it, better options available out there. Also, no where it is mentioned about the character limit when premium is purchased.

Very convenient for when I can’t pick up where I left off when busy I just listen in my headphones when I don’t have the time to read.
