Voice Pitch Analyzer

I’m a cis girl with an high pitched voice, i’m very soft spoken and i’ve been told that i have a very feminine voice by multiple people and this app is trying to tell me i’m androgynous

I’ve tried to use the app multiple times (my microphone is connected and I’m in a quiet space, speaking at an audible volume) and it says it can’t analyse it/there’s some sort of issue. Have tried to record about four or five times

The app works fine. but for the love of god if you are looking for any validation for your identity do not come here (especially if you are pre-T/E). I have a deep/androgynous voice according to most people but this app says otherwise. It’s good if you want to see your progress on hormones but otherwise it will whoop your self confidence into an oblivion. But remember regardless of what any app says you are absolutely valid and deserve to feel comfortable, accepted and respected for your identity. Stay safe out there my trans buddies.

Damn the book they get you to read from is like quite racist - feels v weird that those passages were kept in

before the last update it worked just fine, could record and stuff. now when i hit “start recording” i cant actually record anything, it starts and ends within a fraction of a second but the screen shows the text, the timer without it starting and the “stop recording” button. needs fixing

I understand that the app has to record your reading but why that story?? I'm dyslexic and hafe the time I was struggling to read what I fond "difficult" words as the story moved upward.

From what I can tell the app doesn’t actually do anything. Spoke in my normal voice, got one result. Deliberately spoke way higher pitched and got a lower pitch result showing. Same with others who tried. Just seems to spit out a random result.

the pitch analyzing is really nice, but there isn’t much you can really do with the app. you can record another log and see how it compares with previous logs, but that’s it. i wish there was an option where you can listen back on your logs or at least see them without having to make another log to access them.

So I’ve been using this app for a hot minute I love it I just wish the UI would work on my iPhone 8, I can’t access any menus to look at the history and when I’m done a recording I can’t even look at the data because it’s shifted off centre way off on the right side of my screen
