Voice Pitch Analyzer

it works well enough i guess, but i’d prefer if i could see a graph of all my previous recordings and their ranges rather than just seeing bars of each range next to each other. it’s a simple and easy to use app though and the ui looks pretty good

Got this app to compare voice, pitch, and gender relations for study. My wife and me both got a masculine result. She has a crazy high pitched voice. Something has to be wrong?

I got a new phone so I had to redownload the app. It lost all my recordings from when I was 18-20. I’m 22 now. I’m a trans man and was looking at all of my past recordings… well, trying to and it lost every single one of them.

Man, my voice is really deep. And I’ve been looking for a way to make it higher and I’ve heard of voice training but this app really helps with that motivation. I’m so thankful

My only real complaint is that it gives a range instead of a specific number of hz, that being said, it’s fine since the range usually isn’t too big and at the same time, it works as advertised and tells me where i'm at

Easy to use and interpret. I love that it doesn't tell me what to do -- just an objective review of what I sound like, so I can track changes as they occur naturally. I love that they use old science fiction passages -- I know that is probably because they are royalty free but it's nice.

So I did a little test I spoke in my highest pitched voice (I’m a female) and then it resulted all the way in the bottom of the male range I did this test several times

I was on Tiktok and this was advertised to me by someone as a voice training app, which it is not but it was pretty helpful in finding out that my voice is considered androgynous

there is something inherently sinister about developing an app catered to dysphoric transmasculine people then making it completely pink and only letting users change it if they pay for premium. it doesn't bother me personally but obviously many will feel uncomfortable with an all-pink app. i would've bought premium otherwise, but because of this slimy strategy i will not be financially supporting. about the app's features, they are very simplistic but serve their purpose. i think it could be improved if there was an option to add text to entries so you can make note of which vocal techniques you used to produce the range, whether it's your deepest/highest voice or your normal voice, etc.
