Julian was especially helpful last delivery, my kitchen is upstairs and he took my groceries to the top of the stairs for me, as I have a mobility problem at the moment and found this incredibly helpful

The app works perfectly and I use it all the time to order my shopping.

Issue affecting log onto Waitrose App

fairlypleased on

United Kingdom

The Waitrose App is currently very difficult to log on from my iPad. You updated the App a couple of days ago, however since the I have encountered problems logging on; this evening I had to make numerous attempts to log on. My iPad has all the updates installed and I am not finding any issues with other apps on my iPad. Clearly there is a technical glitch somewhere which needs sorting out. I have also not received the usual confirmation of orders email that are sent out when the orders have been placed online.

Awful App

GeekyDiva on

United Kingdom

Was OK before the recent update, and I used it to shop in store. Very convenient to check out having selected my vouchers and using my card on this app. No longer. It is asking me to sign in but keeps telling me my log in attempt has failed. I thought maybe the signal was poor within the store, but the same message pops up at home. I have tried removing the app from my phone and starting again, but this hasn’t worked. Is this a deliberate ploy Waitrose? My app refused to work for my third shop on your December promotion, which would give me a £15 discount off my shop in January over £50. My points could not be added retrospectively when presenting my actual Waitrose card in store. By the way, the app is working fine on my iPad, but it’s definitely not convenient to carry this around in store.

Frustrating app

Misslewissxx on

United Kingdom

I got the app, after 10 minutes of entering and re-entering my details because it just gave me a blank screen, I deleted it. Thought it would be better shopping directly rather than Ocado, but the app is full of bugs so, back to Ocado I go.

Poor

Bertie 240 on

United Kingdom

This app is perfect for ordering shopping but as Waitrose in their wisdom has decided to close the Food magazine app and combine it with this app I have given it a low rating. It’s impossible to search for a particular recipe and not at all user friendly when trying to find a selection of recipes from old magazines. Such a pity it used to be really good.

Awful app

anjel_ice on

United Kingdom

My main usage store has no WiFi and is in a low mobile signal area. This app decides to update and will not be able to update when you are in the store. When it decides to update , you cannot access the loyalty card barcode. So makes the shopping trip very annoying when this happens. Can’t you do it so you can always access the barcode? For it to kill the app totally when an update is needed is silly and very annoying.
