Description

Enjoy the benefits of meditation as you walk. Walking meditation can be just as profound as sitting meditation. It brings the meditative experience into daily activity.
Perfect for those who have trouble sitting still to meditate, it's also great for those who enjoy sitting meditations. It helps bring meditation into every moment of the day.

Our approach to walking meditation is easy and informal. As you walk, you are gently guided to experience your body and your surroundings fully. Letting go of thoughts about the past and future allows you to experience the present moment more fully.

THE APP CONTAINS:
INTRODUCTION TO WALKING MEDITATION & TIPS
THREE WALKING MEDITATIONS, each with a different emphasis
DIARY PAGE - for those who want to keep notes on insights and experiences
INTEGRATION WITH HEALTH APP - allows tracking of "Mindful Minutes"
---------

Each walking meditation has a different focus:
BEING FULLY PRESENT Guided Walking Meditation (16 min)
Helps you to be fully present to all of the experiences you have while walking -- what you experience within yourself and in the world around you.

ENLIVENING THE BODY Guided Walking Meditation (17 min)
Focuses on the experience of the body while walking. It enlivens the body, strengthens the mind-body connection and is both calming and grounding.

ENHANCING THE SENSES Guided Walking Meditation (18 min)
Focuses on what you see, hear, smell and feel through the sense of touch as you walk. It enhances your experience of life by enhancing your perception.

I began using this during the pandemic when I walked my dogs. It is still one of the best to use

I’ve had this app since 2012 and I still use it! Simple. And a great walking meditation!

I have learned so much from this app and it helps the time go by when I am walking my dog so that we both get a lot more exercise

Body movement and zen space

I really like this simple app for a walking meditation. It keeps me focused on being present. I’ve recently started using it for bike riding as well. Rather than the monkey mind I have a half an hour listening to a soothing voice gently reminding me to focus inward but still able to experience the senses without labeling. My workdays are definitely more balanced when I use this app.

Great app

Someone said she repeats the same thing: yup that’s how the meditation works. This is the best I’ve found for walking meditation which for me,after many years of meditation, is still the hardest. Great app

Nice app. Soothing voice. I have long trails in a forest to walk through and this is the perfect app to take along. Glad I found it. *Reading through some of the comments I realized there are a bunch of critical people out there that probably won’t find happiness or contentment in any app. Not every app in the app store will work for everybody. This one works for me.

Different and really cool

I really like this app because normally, I hate walking because I find it really boring. This app makes it a mental challenge that I enjoy, so I actually look forward to walking now, plus there's the added benefit that I'm training my mind. This is a really cool idea because I haven't seen any other apps like it. It would be cool if they had more than three meditations, but still a great app.

Great

So far I only did the first meditation but I really liked it. Felt really alive after. Worth every penny.

Only 3 recordings!!

Not worth the money

Terrible app

Zach2505 on

It only has three meditations which should be disclosed and they are virtually the same thing. Rip off for even 2 dollars
