Welltory: Heart Health Monitor

I went to sleep and slept a long time for me 8 hrs (4am-12pm) and it shows in my app at 9:30am I was strained and at 11:30am it said I was under major stress how can this be if I was sleeping?? I’m super confused! I’m wondering if this thing really works like they say or if they just see a pattern and run with it! I’m just not understanding how I can have 83% stress in my sleep! I have fully paid for my year but don’t plan to renew as I don’t think this works like it should. I was a believer until I was super stressed one day and checked it and it said my metrics were just fine and that I could have a full day and I was about to break mentally and physically yet it said I was good! So not really happy with it and even wished a refund was an option! Keep getting super high stress readings even when Im laying there sleeping I keep asking for a refund and I just keep getting stupid excuses do NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!! It’s NOT WORTH $10 much less $100!!!! I don’t even want to keep the service but they will not refund my money! Just keep trying to explain how it works 🤦🏼‍♀️🙄

I’ve been a Welltory user for well over a year. I am a lifetime member now. It keeps track of my heart rate and lets me know where I’m at with stress etc. I swear by this app and I’m looking forward to seeing what new improvements come throughout the years. As someone who is working on cardio health, this app is great! Tracks my sleep, exercise and everything. I like how it gives information on things to help reduce stress and improve cardio health. Great work Welltory!

This is really smart because I am feeling not stress but I am not feeling good. I have a cold. Good call catching up with my heart rate.

I felt great. Love my job as a play therapist. I work part time. I walk and do light yoga for exercise. I love my husband and dogs. No complaints about my life. This app I believe is very accurate. I bought it on the suggestion of my metabolic syndrome Dr who has been treating me for seven years after my life of chronic diets and intense exercise to lose weight injured my metabolism (plus genetics). My bloodwork showed low cortisol and high numbers for old trauma (I forget what that indicator is called). She wanted me to track my HRV. Well. My HRV is flatlined at the bottom, my coherence is very low. I’m showing constant stress in the 94% range and my body doesn’t recover from the day. Any day. I wake up stressed. It’s making me depressed and anxious! I feel sad, preoccupied and overwhelmed. I’m meditating more - that’s good - and I know to bring up my HRV is exercise and meditation and healthy food, but I’m being told by the app that I shouldn’t do more than stretch because my body can’t handle it. I thought I was happy but this is really actually stressing me out. It’s messing with my mindset big time. So be careful if you get it. And yes I believe it’s accurate. I do have historical trauma, much that I have dealt with emotionally in therapy over a lifetime but apparently it hasn’t translated in my body that way.

After having this app for over two months, according to it I should be dead. Never had a day where I wasn’t totally stressed out and in the red. I now understand why there is no free trial, no one would purchase it.

Hard to believe 4.8 rating when so many one star reviews. Why would I pay almost $100 per year to be told by AI that my energy is low and other useless "insights"? Its algorithm basically measures and uses HRV to make nice sounding diagnoses that become redundant and not connected to my reality. Sure, it looks nice but as a doctor I see no value in this app. Would not recommend. There are other personal health records in the appstore that can do more for a fraction of the cost.

This is a great app that’s tracks a lot of information and offers a lot of insight to many different things.
