Use Whitelines App when you want to:
・Capture your notes.
・Save your notes.
・Share your notes on Social Media, email, etc.
・Continue to work and edit your notes digitally.

The Whitelines App will capture your notes automatically when it detects all four corner codes on your Whitelines Paper and adjust the image to make it useful to you.
When using Whitelines Paper the app removes the background, so all that remains is your writing or drawing over a white background.

Whitelines App is perfect when you want to:
・ Review your notes on the go before an exam.
・ Share notes from a class with a friend.
・ Include a handmade drawing in a presentation.
・ Post an illustration or note to Instagram.

CAPTURE YOUR NOTES WITH WHITELINES APP
1. Tap the camera icon to enter capture mode. Whitelines App will capture your note automatically when it detects the full page (including all four corner codes), with the logo at the bottom of the page. Or, if you use other than Whitelines Paper tap the button to scan the note manually. Before scanning, choose between “Auto” or “Manual” to tell Whitelines App to remove the background automatically or to edit the image yourself.
2. If you have several pages of notes that you’d like to save as a stack, simply stay in the capture mode and continue to capture pages one at a time. Of course, you can also save your notes to existing stacks in the app.
3. Save, Use, Edit and Share the Notes

Choose if you’d like to save your note locally on your phone, or if you’d like to share it–with yourself or with somebody else. You can share your note with any app that processes image files, such as WhatsApp, Instagram, OneDrive, OneNote, Google Drive, Evernote, Dropbox, Line, Facebook installed on your phone. Tick the boxes on the Whitelines Paper to email the note or save it to Dropbox or Evernote.

Needs more features

It’s a good system and well made but the software UI is lacklustre and very basic. Could do with more features and more manual control over pictures. More formatting and sharing options could help improve the functionality.

App is a great support for the book

I love being able to store my notes on the app, as I can review them when I don't have my book handy.

Like magic

Works seamlessly. So glad a friend bought me the notebook for an early bday present and they are fabulous!! Can’t wait to buy more! They work great for drawings and diagrams but I almost feel bad using the paper 😂. Definitely worth the hype! Nice and thick and the white and grey is great, both functionally and aesthetically! Love this app so much and the notebooks work great with all my stationery, especially brush pens, not fraying them at all which sets it apart from some of the other niche notebooks. Overall great app 👍 totally recommend and do yourself a favour and buy a few of the notebooks, you won’t regret it and they are so nice to use they actually motivate you to study!! Fabulous Totally recommend

Amazing work

This app motivates me to study so much ! Sharing notes with other classmates is so easy and efficient with the books and this app thanks a lot

Great for workshops

I’ve used the whitelines notebooks and the app for several workshops. It’s a great tool for sharing ideas and getting all the material digital to the participants.

Works nicely

I bought the notepad knowing nothing about the app. App was easy to use and works great, clear and no shadows on the scanned page. I like the option to use the phones light for low light conditions . Way better that the other ‘free’ apps available. But need the book for it to work.

Doesn't work

Got given a notebook from a friend who thought it would be helpful for my typography and design work. The first time I tried it, it worked so I changed my workflow the second time to include Whitelines. It didn't work at all: in artificial or natural light, whether the page is propped up or placed flat. Such a shame because this would have been a good design tool.

Bought a small notebook from this company and it doesn't even scan properly.

Disappointing

Really clever idea, however I found taking the pictures didn't work very well. When it got the image it was good though. Office Lens is much better at photographing documents. Nice touch to convert to pdf and it looked like it supported making a multipage pdf but alas no. Also no saving to local apps like iBooks or Goodreader so email and save it is.

Could have been such a cool app...

What this app does is it takes a photo of your page, crops it and removes the light grey background. Nice thought, but it would be easier to take notes on white paper and simply take a photo using your iPhones camera. Not sure I see the point of this app. It would have been much cooler if it somehow digitalized your written notes into computerized text for emailing etc. and vectorized sketches for future editing in programs such as Adobe Illustrator... Perhaps there's already an app out there that does this.
