Description

Forget about unwanted calls and spammers spoofing tricks. No registration, no user data collected.

Now there are two ways to add new prefix:
1) quick one - open incoming call in Phone app, tap on action "Share Contact", then tap on action "Block in WideProtect" and then remove several last digits of phone number;
2) classic one - in the application, tap on "+" button, choose Country and check if phone number length is correct, then type several digits of phone number to block.

The latest version supports blocking up to 120,000,000 phone numbers - whole 12 area codes in the USA!

WideProtect is free to download. A subscription is required to use the application, but you can try it out completely free for 3-7 days (depends on subscription plan).

IMPORTANT NOTICES:
- Do not remove the app from iPhone memory while it's updating blocking list - but you can do it after updating.
- Blocked calls may be forwarded to voicemail, as it works on mobile operator side (contact your mobile operator for details).
- If you use 'Do Not Disturb' mode, blocked calls may appear silently on Home screen and in Recently list - to avoid it disable DND mode.
- Sometimes iOS does not display WideProtect extensions in iPhone Settings immediately - in this case just add needed prefix to the app, then wait for 1-2 minutes, and then go to iPhone Settings.
- WideProtect functionality is available via auto-renewable subscription for $0.99 per month or $9.99 per year. Payment will be charged to iTunes Account at confirmation of purchase, subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24-hours before the end of the current period, account will be charged for renewal within 24-hours prior to the end of the current period, and identify the cost of the renewal, subscriptions may be managed by the user and auto-renewal may be turned off by going to the user's Account Settings after purchase.

Best call blocking app ever

The best unwanted call blocking app I've ever used. Simple to use and effective. You can block an entire area code and/or prefixes. Blocking up to 10,000 number combinations at once. It was the only way I found to get rid of automated phone calls, invasive marketing, etc.

Bought the app and it's now subscription

I bought this app in the past, and today after updating it's telling me I have to buy a subscription to use it. I'm not paying twice for that app. If you're willing to pay subscription, there's plenty of apps better than this one. Just search and you'll find.

Limited to 10 digits plus country code.

Is it true that limit? Apparently doesn’t work with the 9 digit cell phone numbers as used in Brazil. For example, the number +55 21 97654-1234 is assumed as +55 21 9765-4123, because the last digit is discarded. In other words, and in terms of wildcards, it assumes that +55 21 97654-123* refers to a ten number blocking range instead of a one hundred number blocking range +55 21 97654-12**.

The App is great

The only issue is that sometimes it shows an error when I add a new number, showing that number is already in my list, but even blocked, I got the call.

Não bloqueou chamadas. Inseri 1493300 e 01493300 e mesmo assim recebi ligação de número iniciado com esse prefixo. Quero reembolso.

O app é fantástico! Realmente funciona como esperado. Parabéns! A única coisa que falta pra ser o melhor do mundo é a opção de bloquear também sufixos (ex: +55 11 ****-**00) The app is fantastic! End with blocker functionality

Hi, there is an opportunity to improve the app, including the functionality to block numbers based on their suffixes (ends with). I am receiving several calls from numbers similars to my own suffix and cannot block them.

It, ok, but some numbers...

I could rate with 5 star, but, some Numbers that are blocked, remain appears. In the beggining it was the best gadget, but i am a little disappointed
