Description

Forget about unwanted calls and spammers spoofing tricks. No registration, no user data collected.

Now there are two ways to add new prefix:
1) quick one - open incoming call in Phone app, tap on action "Share Contact", then tap on action "Block in WideProtect" and then remove several last digits of phone number;
2) classic one - in the application, tap on "+" button, choose Country and check if phone number length is correct, then type several digits of phone number to block.

The latest version supports blocking up to 120,000,000 phone numbers - whole 12 area codes in the USA!

WideProtect is free to download. A subscription is required to use the application, but you can try it out completely free for 3-7 days (depends on subscription plan).

The app requires iPhone 6s and higher, iOS 15 and higher.

IMPORTANT NOTICES:
- Do not remove the app from iPhone memory while it's updating blocking list - but you can do it after updating.
- Blocked calls may be forwarded to voicemail, as it works on mobile operator side (contact your mobile operator for details).
- If you use 'Do Not Disturb' mode, blocked calls may appear silently on Home screen and in Recently list - to avoid it disable DND mode.
- Sometimes iOS does not display WideProtect extensions in iPhone Settings immediately - in this case just add needed prefix to the app, then wait for 1-2 minutes, and then go to iPhone Settings.
- WideProtect functionality is available via auto-renewable subscription for $0.99 per month or $9.99 per year. Payment will be charged to iTunes Account at confirmation of purchase, subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24-hours before the end of the current period, account will be charged for renewal within 24-hours prior to the end of the current period, and identify the cost of the renewal, subscriptions may be managed by the user and auto-renewal may be turned off by going to the user's Account Settings after purchase.

Great blocking App

Calls from foreign countries all stopped. Great support and an absolute fair price just to support the developer. You can’t go wrong with this app. Easy to use and works great

Working fine

Got 5 scam calls from the same pattern within 5 hours so downloaded this, tested with a friend by blocking the pattern starting with her number, seems to be working for me. Just one question, when configuring the CALL IDENTIFICATION APPS under iPhone settings, I see A huge list of WideProtect - xx (number), what do the numbers stand for? Do I need to enable all of them?

Spam Calls

I had been having numerous spam calls for weeks & various countries and have tried various apps that don’t have the caller block like this APP its awesome highly recommend!!! D

Simply doesn’t work

I have a company spamming me with the same telephone number pattern that I have set up to block but they get through every time.

Excellent for SMS blocking

Easily blocks all of the dozens of Flubot scams every day. Unfortunately, Apple do not allow wildcard call blocking, so the developer had to resort to blocking number ranges by automating entries for every number in a specified range. This is slow, and limits how many can be blocked. It is impossible to block a whole country like India for instance. I hope that Apple will allow what we have all wanted for a long time. Also hope they allow the app on the M1 macs soon.

Doesn’t work

I get a spam call from a number with the same first 6 digits every day so was excited for this app. No matter what variation with country code and area code I try, the calls keep coming through. Can’t even email support to ask ask the “write email” link just tries to open the iOS mail app, which I don’t use. Disappointed.

Does not totally block

Ok app, still getting phone calls from something that i registered on line. No one can take me off the list, though is get this app to fix my issue. Getting less phone calls but still on a daily basis.

App no longer works

After the latest iOS 14 update this app doesn’t work. Don’t pay for this. It was working well before but the developer hasn’t updated the app in over 6 months.

DO NOT BUT THIS APP, IT DOES NOT WORK!

This App is a rip off. It does not work. I have hundreds of screenshot of calls that I blocked yet I keep getting more and more calls from countries and areas that are meant to be blocked. Hate it!
