DONT UPDATE
The new update is awful. I dont know why they have ruined such a great app. it no longer puts a heart around sites that you like so it’s really difficult to quickly see which ones you’ve liked now and it runs incredibly slowly and doesn’t seem to work properly off-line anymore
Rubbish…
Paid for this app 6 months ago and was impressed with it. But the latest release has totally ruined the app. It’s now about as much use as a chocolate teapot. Don’t bother wasting your time with it.
Unable to open since new version
I can no longer open the app. I downloaded a new version about a week ago and logged in. It worked then but now I just get the green image with a sunrise and no data
Used to be great. now awful
The new update has killed the app for me. Yeah maybe it looks a bit more modern but the interface is slow and buggy. Often forgets preferences and logs me out. Also the new app requests permission to track across apps and says it ad supported even though have paid for the app.
New update has made the app unusable
So so annoyingly the app updated when we were 90% through a trip, and now I can’t add or remove anything from the trip. Also the new UI is bland and the route stands out less. Also the map colours don’t look as good anymore, I can’t tell why, but the old satellite view looked so good.
Please please go back wiki camps. Used to love the app, now it’s unusable!
Update ruined the app
Since the new update in the last couple of weeks, cannot load the app at all offline (when it’s most needed). Barely loads when there’s full service, very buggy and lags constantly. Complete waste of money, get better off of the free apps.
Bring back the old version
New version is so slow and I absolutely hate the user interface. It’s soo complicated. Old one was simple and easy to use
Update and new look has ruined it
It now keeps freezing and is harder to find things. Make sure you set the app to offline mode BEFORE losing signal. If not it will not load at all to select offline mode!!!
You have to take extra steps to see what services are available with more complicated but less useful filters. No longer the option to avoid 4WD sites. Satellite view no longer has any place names. It’s just a lot slower and worse. The old version just worked! It was really useful.
Continuing problems
The new facelift is a downgrade. The offline mode is far less useful than the older version, lots of previously available information is now only available when connected to the internet. A disaster if you are red roading, or on the Nullabor! Adding text has no spellcheck which is crazy, it's built into your mobile. Disappointed, give me the old version any day.
DONT UPDATE THE APP
HATE HATE HATE the new update. Theres not one feature in the app that is better off, it shows less information when you click on a site, it’s slowed the app down so it takes over 5 minutes to get onto, the trip planner has been made so difficult to use and to add your own spots. It doesn’t show the roads or anything clearly anymore the icons are massive and take time to load as your looking along. And it’s just made it ugly to be honest with you. My boyfriend still has the old version on his phone thankfully so I’ve logged in and am using his because honestly its not worth the time or stress trying to use the updated version.
