Cara, app muitíssimo simples porém absurdamente eficaz no que se propõe a fazer! Parabéns pelo seu ótimo trabalho!
This app is usually great but after the recent update I’ve lost all my bookmarks! I’ve been keeping them for years! This would also be a great use case for being able to export them. Even a CSV file would be better than losing them all :(
can’t even look up a single word
I downloaded and opened the app on iPhone 12. I typed in “Germanic” in the search field. The app crashed. I tried again. It crashed again. I deleted the app. I wrote this review. Done.
For etymology, finding cognates, definitions in multiple languages, conjugation, etc. very useful. However, none of the audio files have ever functioned in the app.
Does not do anything useful. iOS 15
I never review apps, but I'm so happy somebody made an app for this! Perfect for etymology rabbit holes. One nit: would be great if swiping right took me to the previous page instead of to the top-level search bar. Because of aforementioned rabbit holes, I go "back" a lot, and it's annoying that swiping right not only doesn't have the expected (imo at least) behavior, but also makes me lose my history (to go back to previous page you have to press the little back button at top of screen). Relatedly, would be cool if swiping left took you forward in history! Otherwise love it; it's simple but exactly what I needed. Thank you!
Crashes every time I type a word and hit the search button
When it comes to defining words, it’s hard to beat this. It’s just like using the Wiktionary website from 15 years ago. Love the etymology references. But the interface needs to be updated and designed to fit mobile devices of varying sizes. I would be willing to pay for that.
If you’re actively learning a language, you’ll find that this app is lackluster. Between needing to load for 10+ seconds for each term, and the continual presence of an adbar, I would rather use my internet browser.
