Crap app

This crap app doesn’t give notification anymore when I receive messages and now I have missed an important message and I have troubles because of this incompetent crap app that is really bad

Problem

When a new message arrived the app doesn’t send a notification of doesn’t give a ping… so I never see or know when I have a new message received. Really annoying

ContactName

Please give the option to change names of your contacts

Timer broken?

Timer chats do not seem to be arriving anymore at the other end

Why not add story? It would be much more fun…

Bug fixing of system crash was solved within a week so I am a happy user again

Very reliable

Good but can do better

Great app basic on privacy. Good functionalities. It easily has the potential to be the best messaging app ever. For now, their major problem is their customer service. Why? Because either there is a strong miscommunication between them and the dev team, either they lie about obvious bugs. I always try to report bugs but I’m never taken seriously. Last bug I’ve reported was about disappearing notifications on lock screen. I’ve been told to make sure I wasn’t having a session open to which I replied no. Two weeks later still no reaction. A day later I see an update with the follow fix : “fixed disappearing messages on lock screen”. I wish that the customer service would be more transparent and honest. A better answer would have been : “we’re aware of this problem and are working on a fix”. Also their response time is far too long.

Very happy with Wire

My experience after several years for chatting/messaging: excellent, sober, perfectly functional. Never had any issues on that side. Advantage: app available for all common platforms, plus web environment accessible on any computer with a browser connected to the internet. From what I can see on the internet, it’s one of the more reasonable apps on the privacy side of things. For chatting, at least, I can recommend it without any hesitation.

Application qui semblait intéressante mais je ne fais que rencontrer des bugs: messages qui disparaissent, notifications qui ne s’envoient pas, appels qui ne passe pas...
