Imagine you go online and browse different shopping websites using your native browser. When you see something you would like to buy later, with one click (share button), you can easily add it to your wishlist. The app automatically stores information like title, photos, description, price, currency, and a direct link to the product page. You can add anything from any website. Discover gift ideas and the newest trends. Receive notifications with promo codes (valid !) from brands you love.

How do I add gifts to my list?
There are three ways to do this:

FROM BROWSER
Activate the GiftBuster button into your bookmarks bar; that way, whenever you come across something you want, you can add that item without ever leaving your browser.

SAVE/COPY ANY ITEM ON GIFTBUSTER
MANUALLY

How do I activate the GiftBuster browser extension (widget)?
Open any page in Safari
Tap the Share icon
Swipe the grey icons in the bottom row and tap "More."
Turn On "Add Gift via GiftBuster" and tap "Done."
Now when you see an item you like, you can add it to your GiftBuster list without ever leaving the Safari browser by tapping the "Share" icon and then clicking "Add Gift via GiftBuster"!

How do I reserve gifts that I want to buy for my friends?
Go to your friend's list. Choose the gift you wish to buy. Tap "Reserve". Set reservation date (i.e. your friend's birthday or Christmas). Click "Continue".

Can I purchase gifts through the GiftBuster App?
No, you can't. You can browse and reserve gifts through the GiftBuster App. And then you go and buy them in person or online.

Can my friend see that I reserved a gift from his/her list?
That's the best part. The list makers can't see who and what was reserved on his/her list, but others can. So no more double gifting!

Can I cancel a gift that I had reserved?
Yes, you can. Go to the RESERVATIONS and click "Cancel." Click "Confirm."

Can I mark gifts that are on TOP of my list?
Yes, you can. When you are adding a new item to your list - check the "Prioritise" option. You can also add it later (edit).

How can I delete gifts from my list?
Long tap on the item image you want to delete. Click the "Delete" icon.

When I'm adding a new item manually, do I have to all the information fields?

The only information required is "Title" and one photo.

If I like an item from someone else's list, how can I add it to my list?
Long tap on the item image you want to save. Click the "Save" icon.

Who can see my GiftBuster profile?
All profiles are public by default unless you change your settings to private. To change it, go to "YOUR PROFILE" and tap the right top corner for settings.

What are the benefits of following others?
Friends on your list can instantly view your gift list, reserve gifts, receive birthday reminders. Only when you follow each other, you can reserve gifts from your lists.

How can I invite friends to use GiftBuster?
You can invite them by sending a text message or email. Go to "YOUR PROFILE" and tap the right top corner for settings. Tap "Find Friends," and then the "+" icon.

Are there birthday reminders?
When your GiftBuster friend has a birthday coming up, you will receive a notification one week in advance.

Stopped working after a day

I was making a Wishlist when all of a sudden the app crashes I go back in can’t add any items, edit, can’t even click on any buttons or the list itself I delete the app and then download it again logged still didn’t work I even restarted my phone and it still doesn’t work to this day

Pretty good!

My only two issues with it are: 1. I wish that there was a way to change the priority of items other than clicking the “move to top of list”. Like if there was a feature that you could select the priority level and it would reorder based on that, that would be so much more helpful. 2. Whenever the price is in another currency than mine on the website, a glitch occurs. Basically, I’ll input the price in Canadian dollars and then it’ll say that there is a discount and change the price cause the price on the website is in another currency. Really annoying.

Great…but the organized should beware

Really like this app, except for two things: 1) I cannot find a way to reorder items in a wish list. This needs to be a thing. Even checking the priority switch does not move the item up in my list. 2) If I add a product on a US site and put its price in Canadian dollars, it still reads the price as though it were US. So, it will say there is a huge sale on unless I leave the price in US funds. A way to turn off price checking would be great.

Could be great app, but have problems

1) Why links from Amazon app doesn’t work? Makes it very difficult experience for users. Though, it can be problem with Amazon app. 2) Who designed this app? Screen for adding gifts is compete fail. Input for url is least obvious of all. Just why?

New update isn’t good

This app worked great last year, but ever since they did an update, it doesn’t work at all. Had problems with my account, and now we can’t reserve gifts. Useless app.

Pretty good stuff, even tho the Facebook contacts is not working 🤔

But would be better if it would work with Chrome as well and not only Safari.

Great idea but I wish if there was an option that allows us to scan the barcode of an item at the store to add it to the list. I also hate to go back to stores and exchange my gifts but with this app I don’t have to do that anymore. Totally recommended.
