Description

The Thermo app helps you take care of your whole family’s health. Created for use with Thermo, the Withings smart temporal thermometer, the app automatically syncs temperature readings for each user via WiFi or Bluetooth. Each user can then view a complete history of temperature readings on their timeline.

To create a more detailed history, you can easily add extra information to each reading:

Symptoms: Whatever and whenever you or someone you care for experiences a symptom, it’s easier than ever to keep track so you can relay this info to your doctor.
Medicine: What did you take and when? Add medications administered to understand how they affect temperature and so you know when and if you need more.
Comments: Add any additional notes that may be relevant to your temperature or illness.
Photos: Strange rash? Feeling better? Select a picture from your phone’s gallery, or take a new picture to add to your timeline.

The Thermo app also provides the following useful features:

Reminder: Set a reminder to take your temperature at certain hours of the day or in specific time increments.
Manual Temperature: If you don’t own Withings Thermo, or simply want to enter additional temperature readings, you can do just that. Simply select “Manual Temperature” and add your details.
Thermo and Apple Health work seamlessly together, so you can retrieve all your health data in one place for easier health tracking.

If you log a high temperature reading, Thermo can help you assess the severity of your fever.

I would have liked to be able to use the Swedish language in the app.

Fancy but not functional

Good looking thermometer. Feels like an Tesla. But….. 1. It takes one hour of tough constant work just to set it up for measuring the temp first time. 2. You can not measure temp without setting it up first with your iPhone. 3. You have to download an app that is very hard to find. 4. Help page that is referred to in the app is broken. 5. You have to create and online account and sign in just too be able open the app. 6. You have to enter loads of personal information in the app. And it’s not optional. Eg birthdate, height, weight etc. 7. The installation process gives you error code 24 in the end so you can’t finish the set up. 8. There is no hits for error 24 on website search bar. 9. If you have more than one family member, you can not chose the persons profile until you have done the first measurement. The first measurement will add up on un-assigned measurements in the app. So you have to manually move them to the correct persons profile. After you made one measurement of temp then it allows you to scroll on the touch display to chose a specific persons profile. Why can’t I chose that before I do the first measurement? 10. When you delete all the other family members in app because it’s so annoying to not be able to assign them before measurement…then the app is updated but not the thermometer. 11. To update the thermometer with same info as in the app you need to setup the thermometer again. When you do that the app starts to crash every time you enter someone’s profile or try to assign measurements. 12. If you delete the app and try to download it again, it requires password again to log in. If you forgot your password the link for resetting the password is not working. Giving you only error messages. 13. And so on….. this was clearly too fancy thermometer to be good or functional. I really regret we bought this thermometer specially since it’s extremely overpriced compared to its competitors and so complicated that basically you need to be really technical to be able to make it operate. 14. Almost forgot…. After 2 days of use we have still not managed to get the battery lid open. Instructions how to do it is very limited and to no help. Googled it and found some videos showing how to do it. Says it’s a magnet that you should pop up with help of your nail. I’ve tried this and still no success. I even tried with a small screwdriver and the only thing that happened was that the screwdriver scratched the nice surface of the thermometer. One gu

Just getting ”JSON error” trying to log in. And the helth mate app still has no support för the thermo 😔

Withings beautiful but walled garden

Thermometer have worked and works flawlessly. Unfortunately data obtained is only shown on the thermometer itself and in the Thermo-app and (oddly enough) in Apple health. To have the same Information in the Withings Health Mate app, you have to put it in manually.

Great Thermometer

I really love the Thermo, it’s quick and easy to take measurements and seems to be very exact. Especially when the kids are sleeping and have fever. Had a lot of problems in the beginning syncing the measurements with all our family members, but that problem is now gone and the app works together with the thermometer. We also have a Withings scale but that works with another app which is a weird choice. I wish that Withings would have everything in just one app. But I can highly recommend this thermometer 🌡
