This app was easy to set up and it was easy install my Thermo, but why do I have to “assign” my readings when I’m the only user? Your app developer could use an IF test, for example, if user count >1 run the “assign to” routine ELSE add readings to default user. It’s just a nuisance because it integrates perfectly with my Apple Health and the Withings app.
Seems like they have given up this app as the last update was 2 years ago, this app is definitely outdated and does not work on the current IOS properly, I get error messages often.
I just want an app that doesn’t want to know all your info, just do what it should.
This would be so much more useful with graphical representation of temperature
My device works beautifully, reads my temperature and does what it’s designed to do. But, the app is failing to write this information into my health app and into the Thermo app. I’ve tried numerous ways to update the device, check for updates for the app and none have solved my issue. Now, I’ve deleted the app and reinstalled the app to see if it will fix my issue, but unfortunately the app comes up with an error when signing into my account. The app should be able to read the necessary data relating to weight and DOB once signed in. Until the issue is resolved with the app, my device and data records are useless for recording.
The device itself is okay. The app it terrible. Doesn’t connect to the device even though phone is showing a Bluetooth connection. Utterly ridiculous waste of time. Please update it Withings.
It took several attempts to connect Thermo to my phone. The thermo kept saying SETUP even after I ran the setup. What worked for me was taking out the batteries and putting them back in and then running the setup again. It’s now working well. I just wish the screen with my readings displayed them on the screen. They show up there when first added them disappear and I have to tap the detail view to see the readings. I also kind of wish the app didn’t require weight at setup because if you have to weigh yourself before you can continue using the app, it makes it longer to setup and it can have an emotional toll on people to weigh themselves. I’d be interested how necessary it is to have the weight to process the readings. Just an observation, though. Now I have it setup, it’s working smoothly.
Not working at all
Just installed the app and the user interface has a lot of issues. Every time you try to change the Avatar picture it fails with a “something went wrong. Error (20)”. It ends up creating multiple profiles. The navigation isn’t good either. Overal the Thermometer seems nice BUT you are forced to use the app AND create an account and yet the app is full of bugs.
Initially I tried to set it up on an iPad and it failed trying to install an update. Customer support were no help. I switched to using an iPhone and the update did install, but the wi-fi connection failed. Again after a week of talking to three different customer support staff the problem still remains. I give it two stars as the unit does install and work when configured with Bluetooth only. A very expensive standalone solution.
