Used to be great, but each new update is buggy
I have been a “Pro” user for a while and several updates in the last half a year have been flat out bad. The words are always great, the app looks nice, and there’s a learning component, sure. However, it appears that there is an attempt to constantly make the app better by tinkering with its interface and the way words are offered/displayed. I don’t think the wheel has to be reinvented, if the whole point of the app is to learn a new word every day and improve on your vocabulary, make sure that the app delivers on that account. I would rather have a simple app that constantly does what it was sold to do, rather than one with a perpetually changing interface that keeps adding bugs. It used to be a 5* app for me, now even 3* seems excessive, but I can’t give it a 2,5*. Plus, I have already contacted support and expanded on issues that I was having with functionality, which at first were responded to, however, once I provided accurate descriptions and screenshots (as I was asked to do) I never received a solution. The only reason why I am still keeping the app is because I paid a lifetime subscription, otherwise it would have been deleted.

Dear reader,
Great app to improve English vocabulary!
I love the games within the app, however since quite some time they have started glitch and aren’t working anymore.
Every time I try to open the puzzle game, it closes, and when I try to open the flash-cardsgame, it states that there’s a problem. The illustrations also glitch sometimes, then I can only see a black screen.
Could you please help me? I would like to be able to play them again.

Unnecessary New Update
Before this recent update that turned the game into a tinder with words, it was perfect. It was essentially a dictionary and I could if d any word i wanted. Now with the new update, my words that I had saved before are gone, and now I have to swipe for hours to find a specific word.

What happened to this app? You can’t look at the other Word of the Days because there’s a fat ad in the way with no way of getting past it. This wasn’t always the case.
Premium membership is not an option with these outrageous prices. Either tone down the ads a bit or provide membership for a reasonable price. The app is almost useless in its current iteration.
