most counterintuitive, inconvenient, anti-user, effort-DRAINING, BLINDINGLY incompetent, terribly designed, stupidly & inefficiently organized WASTE OF CODE IN THE APP STORE. And that’s saying something. If you have ANY EXPERIENCE working with ANY DAW ON ANY PLATFORM, you will HATE THIS WORKSTATION.
Id use it a lot more, I hope they're planning on making it AuV3 in the future.
Xequence 2 is proving to be as good as I hoped it would be from all the favorable reviews I’ve read. It’s got what I need, the interface is clean and no nonsense, it connects to everything I want it to and it works in my phone as well. What’s not to like. Get Xequence 2, get to work!
you can tell the designer of this sequencer actually makes music. i lobe this app, use it all the time alonngside others. top notch, very impressive. thank you for making this 🙏
Most instruments wont show up in midi window Waste of money I have grown to hate this app !
How do I get my money back for this terrible app?
Special app works great
Really like how easy it is to enter notes, either recording directly or drawing manually, and editing them on the piano roll grid. Good quantization too. Great interface and solid performance running with my AUM sessions. I do wish there was a way to control the transport or track mutes via MIDI, or some way to start/stop sequences without opening up the app. I find myself going back to Modstep for that capability.
This is a really great, well designed sequencer and miles ahead of GarageBand in terms of efficiency and power. I especially appreciate the auto melody generator, the ability to use scales system-wide, and the ease of editing notes. However, unlike nearly every other iPad app, YOU MUST REMEMBER TO PRESS “SAVE” MANUALLY. Auto save usually works, but for some reason it didn’t work for me this time, loading only a blank file. I had rarely remembered to press the actual save button, so I lost hours of work.⏱ Also, when you delete or change a controller that you have already tweaked in Pianoroll or Keyboard view, it doesn’t seem to reset that controller value properly, so the result will still sound different until you restart the external synth app. (EDIT: Not this app’s fault! It’s an issue with the specific app I’m using, Roland Sound Canvas.) Another feature that would be appreciated is SysEx support.🤓 Anyway, the app is good, but save your work.
