The ZF Autos are used throughout the whole range, from the 1-Series hatchbacks, to the mighty Alpina and M cars!
While the hardware stays widely the same throughout all applications and is mainly divided in only 2 types (6HP19/21 and 6HP26/28 for 6-Speed, 8HP45/50/51 and 8HP70/75/76 for 8-Speed), the software inside the controller makes it possible to adapt the transmission, to every vehicle and mimic a wide range of driver styles. Smooth and comfy in the Luxury applications, the same transmission can be tweaked to deliver snap-on take-off behavior, surprisingly fast shift times and even race-style throttle blips on downshifts.

Bad idea
Because of the update you guys are ficking this up. Last year everything was go to go. Now everything is an issue. I was trying to reflash my transmission and my f85 now is stuck couldn’t get it to show P or drive on the dash board. Now my car is stuck. Need help with this.

2021 M550i(G30)
xHP Flashtool is by far the best and only TCU flash known to me. I currently own a 2021 M550i and previously owned a 2020 M340i. I flashed the ECU on both vehicles which really woke the cars up, however, once I flashed the TCU with xHP Flashtool, it completely transformed the cars. The ease of use of the app is fantastic. All instructions needed to install the flash on your BMW are detailed within the app. If you are looking to take your driving experience to the next level, xHP Flashtool is the TCU software update your BMW needs.
