Description

Chaos Control is a personal organizer that will help you manage your goals, to-do lists and tasks in both your business and personal life.

People don't usually achieve impressive results simply by being good at task management. It's the ability to set legitimate goals that makes the difference. Just write down your desired outcomes to make them real. This simple technique helps you to prioritize your goals before acting on them.

Chaos Control is a task manager based on the best ideas of GTD (Getting Things Done) methodology created by David Allen. Whether you are running a business, launching an app, working on a project or simply planning your holiday trip, Chaos Control is a perfect tool to manage your goals, juggle your priorities, and organize your tasks to get things done. And the best part is, you can handle both heavyweight project planning and simple daily routine like shopping list management in one flexible app. Also, Chaos Control is available across all major mobile and desktop platforms with seamless sync.

HERE IS HOW IT WORKS:

1) MANAGE YOUR PROJECTS
Project is a goal combined with a set of tasks you need to complete in order to achieve it. Create as many projects as you like to write down all the desired outcomes you have

2) ORGANIZE YOUR GOALS
Create unlimited number of projects and group them by category using Folders

3) USE GTD CONTEXTS
Organize tasks from different projects using flexible context lists. If you are familiar with GTD you would just love this feature

4) PLAN YOUR DAY
Set due dates for tasks and make plans for any particular day

5) USE CHAOS BOX
Put all the incoming tasks, notes and ideas into Chaos Box in order to process them later. It works similar to GTD inbox, but you can use it as a simple to-do list

6) SYNC YOUR DATA
Chaos Control works on both desktop and mobile devices. Setup an account and sync your projects across all of your devices

This app is designed with creative people in mind. Designers, writers, developers, startup founders, entrepreneurs of all kinds and pretty much anyone with ideas and desire to make them happen. We combined the power of GTD with the convenient interface to help you with:

Chaos Box 2 is the nexus of productivity

melliott79 on

I have used Chaos Box since 2022, and have recently upgraded to the new Premium option for time tracking. All I can say is that this app is beautiful both aesthetically and for its simplicity. As someone who has to access information or add items to my list or projects throughout the day, the ubiquity that this app provides is priceless. I can access my stuff on my iPhone, my MacBook Pro, and my pc. If you aren’t familiar with David Allen’s GTD methodology, CB provides a primer. But again, the beauty of GTD and CB is that it doesn’t FORCE you down any particular path of productivity, but rather provides a framework that you can then use to adapt to your own learning and work style. For someone with ADHD, that is invaluable. Every day you can use it differently, or you can follow the baseline GTD method, or you can make it your own. I have two suggestions that would make Chaos Box even better: 1. Add a notes/journal section and don’t restrict the word count. For those of us who practice the Second Brain method for aggregating thoughts and notes to support the projects we are working on, or to provide deeper contexts, this functionality would truly add an exceptional layer. 2. Provide the ability to do a numbered checklist. The Ivy Lee method is an amazing and basic tool that folks can use to supercharge their day by prioritizing the up to 6 most important things that need to get done. I get around this by creating a project called Ivy Lee and dumping my 6 tasks there, or you can create a tag called Ivy Lee and tag the today items. But the missing piece is to create a numbered list. This would be an easy add on, I would think, and I would pay extra for these two features. They blend beautifully with Chaos Box, and would further strip the use of other apps and redirect our focus back to a single source of truth. Keep up the great work!

UX is pretty but not particularly efficient

Simple things take several touches. Also, functionality around contexts is a little mysterious.

App is terrible

Can’t download the app on my desktop which is a MacBook Pro. It says the developers need to update the app. When I try to login it says my password is incorrect. I want my money back.

Requires new subscriptions

The developer promised to improve the app but instead launched version 2 which needs an additional subscription in the form of a new Pro plan. It's nothing but a backdoor way of making money from those who bought the app before. I hate that I have to keep paying for any improvements to fix the app.

Пользовался первой частью лет 5, вторая еще удобнее.

Всем рекомендую для организации своих дел, один из лучших органайзеров на телефон с сенхронизацией на Mac.

Omg, V2 ONLY works on iPhone right now

Dutchess23 on

Chaos Control a nice app,but don’t upgrade to the 2nd version. It’s a hassle and you’ll find out you have a mini version of the app available for iPad. There’s native no iPad support. I think they released what amounts to a choppy beta.
