Resurrected an old device, works perfectly, very satisfied. 100% happy i found it, totally enhanced my workflow
Amazing App supported useless IPad 1Gen as Second display
This app eased my work. Just use 1024 x 768 to get 60 fps smooth and large screen on iPad.
I have bought a second monitor and it stop working after a week so I had to find a alternative solution, so I have found this app so I can use my iPad as a second screen and it works flawlessly. I am so happy about this app. More cheaper than a second screen monitor
One of the best apps for Mac
Consistently works the way a user wants it to. Even works on an old hackintosh laptop. That was a pleasant surprise!
Skip everything else. (Unless your equipment is new enough to run sidecar AND you’re okay with landscape mode only.) This is the only stable app I’ve found for running my iPad as a second monitor and it allows vertical/portrait mode. Duet is trash. Don’t waste your money.
I had really hoped YAM would be a viable alternative to Duet. Alas, while it’s reasonably capable at displaying desktop apps, it falls apart when trying to do anything beyond the bare minimum. Case in point: in extended monitor mode, it fails to display half of Apple.com in Safari. Yes, you can see the site correctly in Chrome, but then the display lags horribly. YAM is acceptable in a pinch. But it’s simply not capable of handling real work tasks.
I have used another display extensor for years but resisted going to their subscription. I finally went looking for other options and found YAM display. It works great, is easy and intuitive. Scales properly without an issue. I use it often when I am also RDK into a windows machine that has 2 monitors and it automatically tiles my 2 screens with the 2 monitor views. This is a great app and well worth the cost. I also got the WiFi version and that works great too. Minimal lag and no problems. If you want to use an iPad as a second monitor this is the way to do it.
