Good music player for MPD
Just checked out YaMPC on my phone and now enjoy playing my music with it. Easy to configure and nice layout. Loads music fast and shows album covers. I see playlists and think for adding these you need the paid version, which is fair. I am still using MPAD (discontinued) on my old Ipad, which also had LastFM link opportunities showing artist info. YaMPC seems a good alternative and is therefore recommended!
No password support?
No password is a no go for me
I know there is no encryption on mpd, but without password anyone can blow up my amplifier and make my neighbors come after me with hayforks and knives. I know i shouldn’t share mpd on the internet without firewalling and encryption, but i’m too lazy to configure my firewall and setup ssh tunnels. I got a million other things to do…
