I have adhd and find it super hard to keep track of projects and stitches and rows and with this it allows for me to have one place with everything available to me. Also being able to upload the yarn I have is very helpful because I constantly just buy more because I can’t remember what yarn I already have.
just downloaded this, it’s exactly what I’ve been looking for! it would be cool if there were pictures of the yarn when we search the yarn database, and if there was a tab to just browse through the database and see projects done with the yarn as well to get some inspo! thank you for making this!! 🥹
I love Yarn Buddy! it has everything i need to keep track of my projects, my place in the pattern, what hook i’m using and a handy line highlight tool. Best app for yarn work :)
I’ve been using this app for a few months now, and I love it. I’m always switching between projects and this helps me keep them all in one place. I really appreciate how you don’t have to upgrade to Pro to be able to use it, and that there’s not a limit on how many projects can be tracked. Can’t fault this, so glad I found it.
Positives: It helps me to know my upcoming projects and helps me to keep them organised. Negatives: It has a few bugs but it works.🙂
I only downloaded this app ten minutes ago but can already see this is an app I am going to use consistently and long term. A lot of knitting apps are clunky and full of bugs but this app has a clean interface, gorgeous details and exactly what I need to help read patterns on my ipad to keep my eyes on track. The price point seems more than reasonable for a yearly basis if this is a tool that will help streamline my projects and easily integrate to get back into knitting after a break. Clever use of colour helps to add personalisation to app interface and also project row counters. This is something I look forward to using! Thank-you for developing!!!
Great app for those who want to know what wool, needles & other tools make up their knitting stash. I’ve been looking for a way to collate both my current projects & the pics, patterns & instructions I used for my past projects. Until I found YarnBuddy I was typing out my instructions & adding photos in the Notes app, but YarnBuddy is giving me a very functional, personal library/database for all my projects & supplies. Now I not only have a library of past projects but I can set up future projects which are just buzzing around my brain. And as a definite bonus, the developer, Becky, is very approachable & was very happy to hear my feedback when I emailed her.
Fantastic app. Love the latest update but there's some care instructions on my yarn labels that aren't on the list (dry in shade, do not wring, rinse well in cold water). Would it be possible for the Tools/Materials Stash to have a quantity field as I have multiples of some hooks & other items (e.g. stitch markers). Thanks for your hard work to bring us this app.
