Amazing app that have everything i need when i crochet. Love how i can find everything in my yarn colection
Got some bugs here and there where if i serch up somthing i get trown out when i try clicking in, annoying and wish i could find a repport bug button
Suggestions for improvements to the app
I really like this app, and I have a couple ideas for useful functionality that you could add to make it even better.
1. Firstly, adding an option to input the gauge for added yarns (maybe even automatic conversion from gauge to yarn weight).
2. Secondly, an option to search among yarns other users have added and add them directly without having to input everything yourself (maybe even by scanning the barcode on the yarn (like Lifesum does)).
3. Thirdly, an option to export projects with all the information you have added (like yarns, notes, pictures, dates etc.) ideally as PDFs.
4. Fourth, the possibility to write and draw directly on the imported pattern.
How about a “pattern” section?
So far, I’m loving this app. Great stitch counter, and it keeps track of my progress beautifully. One thing jd love to see added is a pattern section, similar to the stash, where you can keep patterns you’re interested in/use frequently.
Bar code
I give this app a 1 due to not being able to scan barcodes. I have tried several different barcodes..I’ve been advised to slow down or to find the barcode when while I have my phone pointing right at it. I was really looking forward to using this application.
Most useful app!!
This is probably the single most best app for crocheting. Helps keep up with yarn, tools, and projects. It’s def a game changer!
This is such an important app for fiber artists but..
It is so buggy right now. I would give full stars but let me explain: - when I’m actively looking at a pattern that I’m working on, it doesn’t matter what pattern, the app will crash and I’ll have to re-open it. This happens no matter if I’m using it on my iPhone or my iPad. I’ve tried uninstalling and reinstalling but I did it one at a time because here’s the other issue: - it will crash if I attempt to do a manual back up. And why am I trying to do a manual back up? Because: - even though I have it set up to back up automatically, it has refused to do a back up on its own since the 20th of last month. And that’s not okay. I have added a lot of patterns and things into the app since then and I would be devastated if I had to go through and redo all that work again. Plus, to save on space, my patterns are all saved into this app. It would be such a pain and long process to pull out the patterns from where they’re stored in order to pop them back into the app again along with the right pictures and everything. It would take so long for me to organize everything properly again…just thinking about it is making me want to cry. I’m not sure what the fix is for this, but fixing this would solve all the issues that I’m finding. I don’t know if this makes a difference at all, but I do have a Pro subscription. So I shouldn’t have any limitations on doing anything within the app. But yeah. This app is a nearly perfect app for a fiber artist. It’s amazing and everything I could ever want or ask for. It’s wonderful. It’s just…these are some pretty significant bugs…🥺😭
Life changing
Where has this been all my life!! Amazing
Yarn Hoarder
I love this app as it’s been helping me organize my personal hoard of yarn, but as I input the same brand 10 times because I support local indie dyers, it becomes evident that it would be amazing if the app could use predictive text for the Name. I appreciate that it’s so helpful with mass produced yarns and J can scan the barcodes and have that work 9(% of the time, but my fancy yarn takes me 3 minutes per skein to fill in, in part because of having to hand type the dyer’s brand information that never changes. (If I were better organized, copy/paste would help, but I’ve got 1 dyer in 5 spots. This is helping me fix that.)
Great! Simple and fantastic.
Love this app. It’s handy, well thought out, and unobtrusive. Truly my favorite kind of app!
I do have a feature suggestion: it would be nice to have a similar “stash” section for uploaded patterns, similar to the stash for yarns. That way it’s easy to find and save patterns to the app, and maybe look through them the way one would look through the yarn stash!
Great app
I have been looking for a while for something to store all my projects in! I’m a crocheter and this is the perfect app for knitting or crocheting!!
