You can't find many businesses on Yelp, not like you can on Google Maps and they have reviews as well. It seems that Yelp are relying on the British public to add and review businesses for them, rather than do it themselves. It has stupid Badges, Dukedoms and Baronships etc they award you for posting these reviews. Maybe this is something for the US market, but I want to be paid for helping set up their business here in the UK. Update 2017 Apple need to ditch Yelp in the UK on their Maps app. That's what's holding their app back. There are hardly any reviews and as a Yelp business user, basically entering my own business on Apple maps when it first came out, any reviews I had were quickly removed by Yelp (Apparently it's a computer that does it). I then get a call from Yelp saying did I want to advertise for £120 per month. I now only use the excellent and far better app of Google Maps. You can virtually find anything on there with reviews too.
Update. I deleted the app. I just use Google Maps that gives more honest reviews.

I was only going to be able to use the ap when visiting the city, but for some reason it wouldn’t let me register, I couldn’t get past the location required page in spite of competing UK in the country drop down list and filling the post code. Whenever I would hit log in with Apple it would just repeat the page, starting with use strong password, which shouldn’t be required as it’s going to be log in with Apple. Just writing the review so you can fix it, may be it saw my post code was in the back of beyond and went into a fit of laughter. Anyway I delete aps that won’t function.

So useful to find shops and restaurants in any new area.

Don’t use for map accuracy
Travelled many miles across Naples to a shop that isn’t in existence.Then used again nearby and found another location fake. Totally useless.

Terrible company that blackmails businesses. It also has terrible user experience in the app: it took me more than 20 minutes to figure out how to delete a review I had posted earlier and changed my mind about. The help section in the website was misleading. Had to go in a super roundabout way to delete the review. It’s definitely on purpose they make it so hard. They want as many reviews as possible and if you want to delete one, you have to jump through massive hoops.

If you want to know what yelp reviewers are really like watch the season 19 episode of South Park. It’s scary accurate it is.
Poor and very rude.
We asked for a table at 6.30 and gave our number, was told it would be 30 minutes, 45 minutes later my wife asked if there was a table to be told they were still busy but we could sit in there side area which we did.
Food was fine
Nothing special, we saw lot of tables being filled, we left at 9.30 and my wife went to the front desk to ask why we had been ignored to be told ‘ ohh you must have given us the wrong number’
Then at 11.16 I got a txt to say my table was ready!!!!!
Very poor and wouldn’t go again.
