For employees:
Whether you pay with our Yokoy Business Prepaid Mastercard, your company credit card or cash, just take a picture of the receipt (or upload it) and your expense report is automatically done by our Artificial Intelligence module. We even show you policy breaches and compliance issues detected by the AI module in real time. All of this takes less than 5 seconds!
For managers:
You receive all expense claims, which need to be approved, with an easy-to-read compliance summary in which you see all policy breaches, fraud potential, and compliance issues. This allows you to complete your review in 3 seconds.
For Finance & Accounting teams:
All approved expenses (privately paid and paid with a company credit card) get to the Finance- and Accounting team for the last review before the data are either downloaded or sent to the company's ERP system for booking (accounting) and payout. The Finance team doesn't even have to enter the VAT data - all VAT rates and amounts are automatically read out by our module. Each expense can be reviewed by the Finance team in less than 3 seconds.
Yokoy is built for complex setups and thereby supports multi-legal entities, multi-currency and rank-specific policies.

Great at Start, now not keeping the same standard
Yokoy was innovative and effective when they started. Now, several years in they struggle to continue to improve the app, updates come with bugs, things that were trivial in usage before are now cumbersome and information confusing or hard to find.
Easy way to submit expenses
It is so easy to submit my expenses. I also see the transactions from my company credit card which match automatically the receipt.
Automation saves a ton of time
I can only recommend Yokoy, it gives me back a lot of time for doing my expenses. It takes less than 1 minute to process an expense, and it works perfectly well!
Makes my life easier
I use Yokoy to do my expenses and approve invoices for my team. Simple app, saves a lot of time for me. The web app is great too but I use mostly the mobile app
es geht so…
Yokoy funktioniert einigermassen. Die Firma ist aber kein verlässlicher Partner, Schnittstellen werden z.B. plötzlich kurzfristig eingestellt. Trotz enormer Finanzspritze hat sich das Programm nicht richtig weiterentwickelt, die gleichen Bugs bestehen seit Jahren. Der Support ist mehr als fragwürdig, z.T. tagelang keine Antwort. Vermarktete Funktionen waren noch nicht inplementiert. Lock-in: Belege werden nur in Yokoy gespeichert statt sie über Schnittstellen zu exportieren. Fazit: Viel Geld für Marketing und Expansion, kein Geld für Support und Qualität in der Software. Ich kann nur abraten.
Smartes Tool
Früher einmal Bundesverwaltung mit SAP, heute Yokoy: Zeitaufwand für Spesen ist auf ein Zehntel gesunken. Genial. Ein Bug bleibt: drückt man aufs Plus und dann auf Datei, erscheint das Auswahlfenster für Fotos. PDFs kann man so nicht einreichen. Und auch auf keinem anderen Weg (ausser man verzichtet auf die automatische Erkennung der Rechnungsdaten)
Great idea, missing major features
In general - love the idea. But lack of control over exchange rate (spread is not anyhow taken into the account…), processing fees (for some payments) etc. is a no-go.
