ZoomNotes Lite is an iPad/iPhone visual note-taking app. It lets you quickly make handwritten notes and sketches on virtual paper, on PDF files, on MS Word, Excel and Powerpoint docs (via GoogleDrive), and over images. Uniquely, it also lets you zoom in and out without arbitrary limits, an invaluable feature for this type of app. It has a free fully functioning pen (although you will be able to try the pens too), and more available as in-app purchases. It has unlimited paper sizes/styles, unlimited colours and line thicknesses, and a large range of ways to share its documents making ZoomNotes the most versatile handwriting/drawing app.

I just become aware of new capabilities making it even better app!

Amazing app for notes

I use this app to take notes, create calendars, sketch and more. The application is equipped with layers and many customisations.

Great and the folder facility is very good

Great app for use with Zoom

Excellent

Fully functional free note taking app which is a pleasure to use. I must admit I tried the paid for features then proceeded to purchase the full app, but it was an ideal way to try the app features before purchase. My favourite feature is the infinite whiteboard pages which are so versatile, especially when lined or as graph paper. Update: it keeps on improving!

Fantastic

Does exactly what I need it for. Would like other pen functions, but I do love the app.

Great app

Once you have read the instructions it’s easy to use. The instructions are essential as it’s not intuitive. The paid version has loads of features and I wish more were available in the free one. This doesn’t mean it’s not usable, it is still extremely useful. The app will remind you that you are using the free one and offer you the upgrade every time you practice with a new item. All that said I very much like this app and will probably upgrade to the paid version as I get more idea how to use all its bits and pieces.

Fantastic app with a lot more functionality than I expected. Love the layers.

Lots of features, just needs a little polishing

It’s got everything I need and more. But sometimes a little buggy or it loses cloud folder connection and can’t regain it. All in all it’s well worth paying for.

Awful

This is an application that just cant be bothered to present itself well and should be judged by its appearance. 15 years out of date. It promises so much but how does it deliver? Who knows? Lazy development leaves the interface way behind the likes of GoodNotes and Notability. Really disappointing it has the ability to create links and has layering but is so awful to use I’m sticking with what I have.
