Completely inaccurate GPS tracking when using Apple Watch. Other running apps at the same time produce accurate results so I know it’s the app, not my device. Not helpful for tracking running stats.
I like using this app. The progression runs are achievable yet challenging. I appreciate that the time calls announce how much you have completed instead of how much time you have left — I find that more motivating. I have already recommended it to others.
I like it for simply because it has helped me get off the couch and run more than I have in over 20 years; I’m currently on week 5, running 5-8-5 intervals. Its helping my improve my health, and because of that, all the issues below don’t REALLY matter. But, since I’m paying for the app, I wanted to comment on some issues I’ve encountered. First, the app has been causing my calories burned to be counted twice on my Apple Watch. I haven’t seen a straightforward way of fixing that without actually deleting the run. I’ve seen some other things where the app doesn’t integrate well with Apple Watch (see image). When the workout gets synced, the heart rate data from the run is pretty nonexistent. In a 30 minute run, the stats only show a couple blips, and I’m positive the recorded Avg Heart Rate stat was WAY off. Additionally, in the image attached, the Avg Pace measurement is way off. The KM used for this calculation is the running and walking intervals AS WELL AS the 10 minutes of warm-up and cool down that I did. BUT, the time used for the Avg Pace calculation (26 mins) is incorrect, and doesn’t take into account the warm up and cool down. The calculation should either use 36 minutes, or remove the distance travelled during the warm-up and cool down.

This has been my running app for ten years now. Whenever needed, 10K runner helps me get back on my feet.
Giving 5 stars because I love this app. Using only couch to 5k and couch to 10K I went from overweight, no exercise, never running more than 3-5 minutes to running in two 10km races. I am actually doing couch to 10km for the second time with my dog to slowly get him used to running. I do have a few complaints about the app however: it’s a bit glitchy, not often but sometimes it will pause randomly during a run or will restart a section I’ve already done. Very frustrating when trying to reach a goal. Another complaint is the average pace: the calculation uses the total distance including warm up and cool down but then only uses the time for the running portion so it makes it seem like you are running faster than you are. Also it doesn’t actually track how fast you are running just timing, so it’ll says “congrats on running 5km” but you’ve only run 4.5km because you’re running at a slower pace, this could use improvement.
As an older female athlete(56), I stopped running several years ago to focus on cycling, mountain biking, downhill and cross country skate skiing and slalom course water skiing. I decided I missed the ease of running when I had less time or when I was travelling. This app took all the work out of restarting and I was thrilled to work back up to a 10K with no injuries. It works seamlessly and I would highly recommend it!

I did not grow up playing sports and my memory of running was endless laps in high school gym class. I despised it. However, several decades later, I was encourage to try running by some colleagues. I needed to add cardio exercise into my routine and I needed an outlet for work-related stress. Beginning with the couch to 5km app, I appreciated being able to optimize the workout. It was incredibly challenging to begin with, but such a high to see the small wins, like the day I could finally run for 2 mins without stopping. I’m now working towards the goal of running 10km and love the coaching this app provides.
