A Game of Thrones: Board Game

Kann das Spiel Grundsätzlich sehr empfehlen, diese Digital Version nicht! Bis auf das ich mir jedes dritte mal neu mit meinem Acc anmelden muss ist alles sehr gut gemacht, aber ich habe mir beide Erweiterungen gekauft und hatte sie 1 Woche später nicht mehr. Habe dem Support vor 1 Woche geschrieben in dem ich das Hilfe Formular lang und breit mit teilweise lächerlichen Anweisungen ausgefüllt habe. Passiert ist nichts, mein Geld und die Erweiterungen sind weg un der Support antwortet nicht.!!!

Overall sound and looks are great. Gameplay is really good as well. Though small, the game is easily playable on a iPhone, BUT 1) the home bar is in the way… like, really in the way. All important text boxes and “confirm/continue buttons” are at the very bottom on the screen with the stupid grey home bar going right through the text, making it unreadable. Pls move the text boxes up a few Millimeters. There is no reason, the box has to scrape the border of the phone. 2) “hold to get information”.. yeah, you can hold a button to get details of the function, BUT the appearing text box is directly under your thumb/finger und you can not move the finger without the text disappearing again, hence impossible to read. Just let it appear in the middle of the screen.

Schade, dass ich mich bei jedem Spiel von Asmodee Digital wiederholen muss und von Entwicklerseite aus praktisch nichts unternommen wird, daran etwas zu ändern: Das Spiel gegen die KI ist Top (wird mit der Zeit aber langweilig), online ist es dagegen ein totaler Flop, weil das asynchrone Onlinespielen praktisch nicht möglich ist. Schaut Euch endlich die Spiele der Konkurrenz an (vor allem die von Czech Games Edition), und macht das asynchrone Onlinespielen möglich, dann gibt es 5 Sterne.

It is clear that once created, they have put no additional $ into continued development or maintenance. Regularly kicks players on the phone app f frequently. Depending on what group you’re playing with that means you might just be expelled entirely after having played a few turns with your friends. Very disappointing for $10

Very fun game and speeds up playtime compared to the physical board game. However, the DLC sometimes doesn’t sync with your app purchases and is unavailable to use.

Chat function is broken during in-game play. There is a mickey mouse fix available, but utilizing it is tedious as it must be done every single chat use. Even worse, the slightest screen swap (even just scrolling the clock screen slightly) will throw you out of a Waiting Lobby; thus, forcing you to re-join the lobby. If you are thrown out of a game during a "lost connection" or a "time out" the bots WILL make moves for you and WILL NOT make these moves in your favor. There has been instances where the bot will attack and/or raid Allies you have made. Do not buy this for mobile. As a bonus: multiple Asmodee accounts can be made; thus, 1 user can be playing as 2 or 3 players at a time. Solo is fun and/or private games. Better on PC but not in multiplayer due to cheating and game-breaking bugs. You have been warned

Wasn’t sure about buying this game after seeing the reviews, but they do not do this justice. After playing the board game, I was hopeful that a good version of this would be available on the phone and this exceeds all expectations. The challenge mode is a lot of fun, the tutorial is good to explain the mechanics if you are unfamiliar, and the ability to play with other via matchmaking or AI is an amazing feature. The only note that I would have is that I would love to see the Mother of Dragon expansion as well. But I 100% would fully recommend this game to anyone who likes strategy board games and/or Game of Thrones.

In game sound or music doesn’t work. No option to not use an order token in planning phase, you must give every army an order or use all available order tokens.

After initially giving this app an overwhelmingly positive review, I must begrudgingly change it to a one star. After purchasing and playing the Feast For Crows DLC for months on-end, the app inexplicably removed my download, and asks for me to pay for it once again. I sent a screenshot of my purchase from Apple to the developers, and I’ve yet to get an answer or have the problem revolved. In regards to the game itself, after attempting to play online, I experienced some of the bugs that other reviewers were talking about. In single player games, attacks will sometimes result in my units sharing a territory with enemy units without engaging in any combat. I truly believe this is the greatest strategy game on the market, and the sky is the limit of the developers get this digital version right! Hope to hear back & have my issue resolved.
