Abound - 3D Scanner

All the scanned material, 10 Gb of them, 2 days worth of work were wiped clean off my ipad when I registered on their cloud and upgraded the app!!! I assumed the thousands of photos where at least safe in my ipad pro… BUT NO!!! I asked for help but all I got was an apology. I appreciated it BUT my data were NEEDLESSLY WIPED CLEAN OFF!! That’ll be more dificult to accept

It has been updated to now work with iPhone 15 pro max.

Seems like it is finally compatible with newer devices.

Big fan in the beginning been subscribed for more than a year, but nothing gets fixed and the devs ignore my questions and concerns. The lidar function crashes the app. In the forums they mention an update, but the only update I see was 5 mo ago. I’m disappointed. The ui experience is off, the menus get cut off on some devices.. Honestly until they work on this app, I would recommend you use Polycam or another scanner. Don’t pay for a product with broken and missing parts. Sorry!

Just downloaded this app because of an online review and was disappointed that upon opening and selecting “lidar” a message pops up and tells me that I need a “pro” model iPhone or iPad such as iPhone 12 Pro…. This is an iPhone 15 ProMax … and it can’t make use of the lidar.

The photo option is super zoomed in and the LiDAR option gives an error saying the phone is not supported.

Seems to think there isnt a LIDAR scanner on my phone

Paid for a subscription just for the app to stop working….DONT BUY THE SUBSCRIPTION

I cannot open the app — every time I tried to open, the app crushed immediately. I have an iPhone 12 mini; not sure if that’s the problem.

I really like this app but I have a few issues. For example, many times captures turn out glitchy and full of non-exsistent triangles. Also, I want to see the price of the full version but i don't know how. I might by the pro version soon!
