ADT Control ®

ADT is nothing but a scam. A lot better options out there for a lot less… the lock you into a 5 year contract and you have to pay the balance of the 5 years…. Got 2 months left before I can trash it…. 120 a month…. You do the math..

I don’t check my cameras unless something happens most of the time, and every time I did my recording options were paused… without notice. So at every important event when I needed a recording it was not available for me . My door sensors fell apart, my keypad stopped working two months after I got it, and when I called for help they said it would cost me 100s of dollars just to come out and I have to pay to replace my devices. And I’m stuck in a 3 year contract by the sales person who told me I could cancel at any time, WHAT A SCAM AND WASTE OF MONEY!

As a highly educated person I would like a more simple and clearer list of options. Note, for one thing there is no (obvious) way to add another user!

The system does not record any kind of activity in front of my house so people pretty much come and go as they please and I guess maybe they see it but it’s not recorded and sent to our devices so we’re still in danger as we speak. Useless

The customer service was always mediocre. I was always calling about something. The cameras compared to what I have now.. 0 out of 10. When I called to cancel they told me it takes 30 days to cancel!!! Which means they will be charging me for a month I’m not using. I WILL NOT be back!

We had this system installed in June. The installer left us know information as to how to work this system. He put a camera on the front door which stopped working and about three months. I called the technician at ADT and she said it was the battery. I asked how to get the battery out so I could replace it. She told me to pry it off of the front door where it was installed. The technician that put this system in left us no key this technician that I was speaking to Person. Persson told me to get a flathead screwdriver and pry it off. I was very nervous about doing that. I was afraid I would break it so I called a local ADT person to come out. He said we did not have a battery camera. We had to charge the camera that was in we said, how do you do that he said you get your key. I said no one gave us a key. He took it out. We got all the wires plugged in so we could charge it now I have no idea how to look and see who is at my door because no instructions have been left. I am so disappointed in this company, he let the original technician us nothing no box as they described it once no key no instructions how to get the camera off anything. I have been very disappointed with the national company. The technician that came out was named Chris and he was very sympathetic and tried to help us, I still have no clue as to how to look at who is at my front door. I asked him if he had any instructions and he said he did not say I’m disappointed in this company is a great exaggeration. I dislike this company intensely because of the poor service.

It has become a recent ongoing issue where it fails to disarm or arm remotely 8/10 times, unless I do it manually in person on the control panel

The pulse app is superior to ADT control . Pulse app is very easy to use . ADT control is too complicated. Make it easy like pulse app.
