lol, people complaining about paying the price for this again should try Adobe for a month and maybe realize it’s not only a significantly more expensive subscription but also the Adobe apps are old, they can’t even render gradients nicely, don’t support modern file and display formats and receive next to no useful updates anyway. With Affinity you’re getting fully featured iPad apps for free with the desktop apps, not some watered down WASM build. Developing software for a long time costs money, even with paid updates it’s one of the few creative software applications that doesn’t have a subscription model. Your app will not be taken away even if it stops receiving updates, you should be happy it exists at all. Best value design software, the most intuitive, and very fast even on a 2018 or 2020 iPad Pro

Why I need pay once again, did I ask for v2?

Big stabiity improvement!

So far didn't crashed on my iPad once, unlike in version 1. Has many tools and I can easily transfer projects from iPad to Desktop. Very useful in UI design. There are many tools that speeds up my work. I just wish there could be autotrace tool. But it's still good piece of software.

That’s a shame

I already purchased Designer v1 on my iPad. You want us to pay again for the same app just to get new features? Who does that? I have purchased a lot apps, they are getting each update new features, I NEVER had to pay anything more. More, You guys don’t even offer any discount for people that already purchased Your previous app. We have to pay like some newcomers, FULL PRICE of what we already paid You. That’s a shame, this is Your „no subscription” plan? V1 without updates, with each iPadOS update will work worse and worse, until it will become unstable. When V3 will come, we will have to buy basically the same app for third time, oh thats great. I want a refund for my Designer v1. And I will keep away of Your politics.

Nothing works

I tried over 3 days to follow a YouTube video about exporting and selecting objects but wasn’t able to select objects. Not able to create gradients not even in their own tutorial document. Not able to create shapes either. Unfortunately this was an absolute waste of time of my time. I had also deleted and redownloaded the app and checked forums for answers but again nothing worked.

Request for Support of Right-to-Left Languages (Arabic and Persian)

Dear Affinity Team, I hope this message finds you well. I am a proud user of Affinity Designer on iPad and truly appreciate the powerful tools and intuitive interface you provide. However, I have noticed that the software does not currently support right-to-left languages, such as Arabic and Persian. This makes it difficult for many users, including myself, to incorporate these languages into our designs effectively. As Arabic and Persian are widely used languages with millions of speakers worldwide, adding support for proper text direction and character joining would be a significant improvement and greatly appreciated by the community. Thank you for your hard work, and I hope this feature can be considered in a future update.
