It’s hard to believe anyone tested this app. This app is extremely difficult to use because basic fuctions often fail, but it offers no indication of why it failed. Setting up a camera is a minefield of problems. It will tell yiu the camera was setup successfully, but then it will report an invalid username or password when you try to activate the Live View feature in the app. This is a terrible user experience. If you manage to outsmart all the bugs, it works fine. But it’s a real slog.

When an event is triggered a notification is sent, however, if you go to push notifications section in the app the notification does not appear in there until you access the notification banner. If you accidentally remove notification from the iPhone notifications panel the notification is lost and you won’t be able to review it from the app. Besides, notification sounds cannot be customized.

Has too many quirks and random crashes. Attempt to delete a saved file , it crashes. Try to record, app closes. Don’t waste your time with this app.

No contesta, es demorado, las cámaras dicen unos servicios y cuando uno va a instalarla no cuenta con los servicios es decir: voz y audio, las cámaras son de mala resolución. Y la app no conecta siempre

These cams are ok, but the software is horrible. Do not buy this garbage.

Amazing app!

The other reviews here calling out Amcrest for a less than desirable experience are on point. Whoever designed this app either didn’t care enough or isn’t smart enough. Date of review: 5-26-24 Come on Amcrest, put a LOT more thought into your app. And….. if you somehow see this review AND decide to act on people’s complaints, *don’t* do the opposite & be like LG. LG incorporates so much advertising into their apps that you don’t even want to use it at all.

Camera works fine and is convenient, but omg the APP is incredibly finicky & inconsistent! Especially during setup eg do the exact same thing 20 times, get twenty different rejections or crashes, and then it starts to work. Seriously, the app retains no-zip-zero-nadda info and NOTHING is correctable, so you start from zero or less each attempt. Makes ya wanna return it! Works okay once working. It’s covered in that crappy pleather Chinese paint that gets sticky over time, so it’ll eventually look quite bad eventually.

I use it for my NVR, to watch live and rewind. Ain’t rocket science. Does what it does well. Simplified.
