Ameelio Mail: Photos to Prison

All is working now, and we’re so grateful for this app. I can’t believe how much easier it is for me now to send letters, postcards and photos - all from an app. Just a few minutes without having to deal with stamps or envelopes or get to a post office. It’s amazing and the app remembers my addresses so it’s effortless. it’s been working great. I also appreciate that it’s clearly made by honest folk doing a good thing for people with incarcerated friends and family who desperately need connection and support.

Used to be a good app it’s appalling now .. just shuts down mid letter . It’s awful and impossible to use currently

This app used to be so good! It was lovely and my l/o loved receiving the cards. But for the last couple months I’ve tried to send around 8 cards, none of them have been delivered. Everytime I try to load the cards it says error, it’s a shame because I had put money on the account too!

As the first 2 letters I sent looked ok and saved so I could actually read them, I purchased several activity sheets and they appeared encrypted (symbols), although a bit perplexed, i sent another 2 messages and these also appearing as symbols so can’t be read - the photos I attached are also not available to view - no letters or activity sheets have been delivered as yet, so I’ve no idea if this is an issue for the recipient. Ameelio have yet to respond, service poor so far.

I have been using Ameelio a while but for over a month it’s just coming up with error. No one ever responds from customer service. Sort it out as we love sending the postcards

Since the update you can’t send anything which is soo annoying as having Ameelio to send things to a loved was a game changer. No one answers your messages to find out why it’s not working. It’s been 3 weeks

I’ve been using this app for months now and it’s been fantastic! That was until you’ve extended your services and I’ve not been able to send anything for weeks now. Come on Ameelio get answering your messages & emails. It’s a very poor service at the moment

This is the worse. It cost too much to be losing my mail and sending over 3 weeks later. This is ridiculous. Time wasted

This “non profit” does profit when they say you can use them, you sign up and put money on it to only find out you can’t use it. TDCJ changed how the letters are don’t and this non profit doesn’t let you know, doesn’t send your letters to the correct place and letters get rejected. To top it off, they will not refund you the money you have for remaining tokens. They give excuses and the run around. If you want your letters to get to your loved one then use Secures. I’ve learned my lesson!! Hope these people enjoy the money they took from me!!!
