Doesnt show up on lock screen. Doesn’t have the option either. Does not show up on Lock Screen widget options

I was looking for a UV index widget but my weather apps don’t quite do what I want, and other pretty create-your-own-widget apps are either paid or just aren’t it. But used together with iOS Shortcut, Any Text is so programmable! Looking forward to better dictionary display and more colour/style customisation :)

Nice and simple, straightforward way to add an “if lost contact” type message to the Lock Screen. I added it via Settings/Wallpaper rather than the app suggested method. You can also use it to put any reminder text on Lock or Home Screens. I am happy there are no fancy formatting options. It is just for text info. But Apple, please, allow a bit more screen space for widgets… Many thanks to the Dev for giving this to the world. It is something Apple themselves really should have done.

This app is way better than I though. I thought it would of been one of them apps that look good in the photos but aren’t really good when you download them but this is better than the actual photos. There are no ads and the customisation is amazing. I use it to separate my apps and I normally do like widgets on my screen but these look subtle and not to flashy.

Guys! I added the text and went to the Lock Screen and Home Screen. The widget is not showing up in either of the settings. Why?

I use it to quickly write notes from the Lock Screen. No complicated features, simply scratch my notes then close. Developer is responsive to feedback and added a small widget, which perfected my set up. Thank you!

I’ve wanted a simple app that does this for ages, but didn’t quite know what to search for, until I stumbled across it by chance. It does just what I needed and it’s so easy to use. So handy for displaying reminders etc on both the lock screen and/or home screen where I can always see it. Thanks!

Absolutely love this app I had trouble using widget smith it just wouldn’t load for some reason so I typed up apps for widgets and found this scrolled through different apps and found this and very grateful that I found this app over all rating five stars and would definitely recommend downloading and the fact that it is all free is absolutely AMAZING!! and a huge thanks to who ever made this app of course x

Gives ‘could not download asset’ error message when trying to add widget to Lock Screen.

Once you have a requirement to get free text widgets onto your Lock Screen and/or Home Screen, this app lets you set it up easily and there are lots of widget slots to choose from. In my particular case, I often need to refer to some phrases in Spanish especially when I get a phone call and have to speak Spanish. I now have these setup on the Lock Screen for easy reference - replacing the need for small paper notes, which were slotted into my iPhones case. Other use cases are shopping lists, address/directions info and important info you want quick reference to.
